LA Police Gear Core Cargo Pant

SKU #: LAPG-PT-BTP9001
MSRP: $49.99
$16.99
Description

The LA Police Gear Core Cargo Pant gives you all the basics you need, and none of the frills and gimmicks that you don't. We are talking classic, functional cargo pants that are simple, tough, and comfortable. This all-purpose pant can really do it all, and because we trimmed out the supertacticalhighspeed features that (let's be honest) only 5% of us use, the price has reached a new low for LAPG pants. That being said, that doesn't mean these pants don't have the tough features you need.

The Core Cargo Pant still has a metal YKK zipper, elastic waistband for comfort and CCW, angled front pockets for clipping a knife, light, or pen, articulating knees for flexibility, and of course two big cargo pockets that close with hook & loop. The 55% Cotton/45% Polyester Rip-Stop fabric is both tough and comfortable. These pants have an athletic fit that will be roomy while not looking like parachute pants.

At this price, why not try a pair out?

Features:

  • Made from 55% Cotton / 45% Polyester Rip-Stop Fabric
  • Fabric Weight: 7 oz.
  • Button Closure with Metallic YKK Zipper
  • Elastic Waistbad for Comfort
  • Rear Slip Pockets for Easy Access
  • Angled Front Pockets, perfect for clipping a knife, light, or pen
  • Two large cargo pockets with hook & loop closures
  • Articulating Knees and Reinforced Stitching

    Perfect fit for the price
If you are looking for a great pair of pants that you can wear casual or in the field these are the pair you want. I bought these to work overseas and know they will fill the role I need them for, either working in the office or working outdoors, the fit and comfort of these pants are worth every penny.

    great pants
i wear a 38 to a 40 . 40 when i have iwb holster on, 38 when im not . so maxed out on the pants they are 40 and roughly 38 at relaxed waste band, so they dont fall off me when i take off my belt and holster like other 40's do.
Prosstay snug and dont slide down without my belt on.
Conshard to catch all the colors in stock. i have enough green to go on the captain kangaroo show. lol

The price is too good to be true
They fit perfectly and have a nice high waist, the fabric is comfortable enough to sleep in but durable enough to work in. I'm definitely going to order more, especially for this price. I love how the pockets have Velcro rather than buttons or snaps, much less fuss when you quickly need to take something in or out of them.

    Awesome pants for the price!
They seem a little lighter weight than the 5.11 Taclite’s I wear on duty. The pockets are similar to what you would find on a pair of jeans but you also get cargos on the legs. They fit true to size and seem very durable so far.

Loved the product. Customer service certainly lacks.
We were very pleased with the pants we ordered. However, we ordered on Sept. 29. There was no indication that our product was backordered. We even got an email saying that some items were backordered but the order showed that none of my items were on backorder. However, my order didn’t arrive until October 13! I would have ordered from somewhere else since this was for a gift. In the end - pleased with the product, disappointed with service.
ProsExcellent product. The pants are great quality.
ConsCustomer service and delivery times were very disappointing.

Hi Chris, I have not received my pants yet but I'm hoping they are better fitting then the 511's I have. I also have big legs and the 511's get snug when I sit in the patrol cars. The LA core cargo pants were marked at a great price, so I decided to try them without spending big money. Hope this helps!

The major differences are the material and size of the lower leg pockets. The Urban Operator Pant are a 65% Polyester/35% Cotton rip-stop fabric and have a slightly larger lower leg pockets the Core Cargo are 55% Cotton / 45% Polyester Rip-Stop Fabric. I must note the Core Cargo are not very good at "Rip-Stop", I have ripped them easily. I would say to get the Urban Operator Pants. they are a couple of bucks more but are made with a slightly better material and have bigger pockets.

The Urban Recons are heavier. A pair of 32 x 32 of the Core Cargos weight just under a pound, the same size of the Urban Recons are about 1.25 pounds.

I have thicker legs, and i love the room in the LAPG operator pants but the LAPG urban ops are too slim on me. Do these pants fit more like the operators or the slim urban ops pants?
    1 Answers
These are fairly new so there are not a lot of reviews on the fit yet. From the reviews so far people are finding these to have generous leg room.

Do the cargo pockets have the slot allowing you to clip a flashlight or something similar without lifting the flap of the pocket.
    1 Answers
Just standard cargo pockets for these, no flashlight opening.

Do these pants bleed out the color when washed a couple times?
    2 Answers
Machine wash cold and there should be no color bleeding.

Actually if you soak them in vinegar for a few hours then wash as normal, there will never be a loss of color. Had a GF that did that to a red pullover one time and the color NEVER faded. Had to get rid of it because it was out dated from the 90's, but would still be as red as day one if I'd have kept it. Really. It works.

Are these pants loose fit, boot cut, straight cut or regular fit?
    1 Answers
I would say closest to a regular cut, for a size 34x34 it tapers down to a 6.4” diameter leg opening. I hope this helps!

The Operator pants have a different poly/cotton blend and also feature D-rings and some additional pockets. I hope this helps!

How does the sizing on these particular pants compare to the Vertx LT Phantom pants? I have purchased LAPG pants (various models) in the past, and the sizing isn't consistent. I wear 34x32 in the Vertx and they fit perfect.

The waistline is measured with the elastic relaxed and has about 2” of give to it or 1” per side. I hope this helps!

I normally wear a size 32/34, I'm 5'10"" tall and weigh 157 pounds, with that being said I don't want these pants to look baggy on Me, do I order My normal size pant ??
    1 Answers
Yes buy your normal size or if you are close to being a size down from what you normally wear consider going a size down as the waistline is measured with the elastic relaxed. I hope this helps!
