Terrible and low shelf life
These are terrible. I bought some on sale to keep in my truck. Some of them didn't work. Some did. I pulled 6 of them out today to replace with some good Cyalume Chemlights and so i cracked them all just to see if they'd light up. NOT a single one worked. They've been in my truck about 1-2 years. Better off buying some good ones.
ProsSome times they work, cheap. Maybe good for like a kids holloween.
ConsUnreliable, low shelf life.

Sticky situation
I purchased this item due to the "White" color hoping to produce more light and different identification than the standard green. I ordered 4 and used two. The package even says white as is shown in the center of the above display. Upon activating the lightstick it turned out to be purple and the second one I activated was also purple. What is worse, is that I put them on my desk to remind myself to request a replacement and in the morning one had leaked and the chemical had begun to eat through my desktop. The chemical is so thick I could not wipe it up with normal soap and water.
ProsDelivered in a timely manor and activated quickly and without problem.
ConsWas not the color expected and a sticky leak occurred.

Great for kids and power failure
Bought these for babysitting, not only did they entertain my nephews but when the power failed the work great to light up the dark hallway, and not worry about burning batteries all night
ProsGood for baby sitting and emergency kit
ConsDogs want to chew on them!

These chem-lights are completely unreliable. I got a bunch of them and most of them did not work properly. When broken and mixed most of the reds and some of the greens did not produce light, and the ones that did function properly were not particularly bright. Don't waste your money on these, purchase a reputable brand.
ConsQuestionable/Non functional. Not a trustworthy product.

Humvee lightsticks are a great assett to bug out bags!
These can provide a safe exit plan if power is out, or they can help your find missing family members in bad weather! Light wieght, and long lastng use!
Prossmall, packable in your bags or cars, have a good use time frame. Super affordable and disposable in a pinch to use!

Lightstick - A necessity.
No matter where you're going or where you are, if you get split up from your friends or family make SURE you have these. We ordered only 5 but will be ordering more for both of our BOBs. There will be 6 of us bugging out if needed. Everyone will have a specific color. I strongly suggest these as mandatory for your BOB.

Good product for boobby trap training. I would buy the full size ones that last longer for operational uses.
Good offordable product for booby-trap training. I would however, purchase the full size longer lasting version for actual operational use.

Great light
I keep these in my vehicles. Price is low enough that I can give some to the kids to play with. Always have been working, but dimmer, the next morning when the kids get up. Have some of these that I bought several years ago that are just as good as the ones I bought last month.
ProsComes with string to tie them on or hang by.

The Humvee Light Sticks do not have expiration dates printed in the packaging or the actual stick itself, so we are not sure what the expiration date is.
