    6 years and counting
I have had this pack for about 6 1/2 years. I picked mine up at a local shop. It has travelled with me by plane, train, and automobile. . It's been with me on a C-130, and ridden cross country on the back of my motorcycle. I have stuffed it to the gills more times than I can count and thrown it around plenty. I have had very few issues. I love it. The zipper on one of the inner mesh pockets went out a while back, but for the amount of use and abuse it has seen I don't think that is unreasonable. There is a rubberized pad on the pack at the small of the back that is also starting to wear thin. I see some reviews bemoaning construction. Maybe I just got lucky, but mine has held together exceptionally well, especially at approximately half the price of similar packs.

    My two cents....
My initial impression is that this pack matches my A-TAC pants and jacket to a tee. However the interior left a lot to desire. There are no pockets that service any real purpose other than for a salt shaker. No kidding! Attention backpack makers: YOU MUST DESIGN YOUR PACKS AROUND 2 100oz camelbacks. And each camelback must be supported by a suspension hook or velcro loop. It socks that as a camelback shrinks that it sinks into a floppy mess in your pack. I don't know who designs your packs but they should be fired. This pack is the right size and with very good coloration but it short changed by it interior's poor layout. I know you can't please everyone but even a cub scout knows better.

    BAD BUY
I had great expectations for this product. I read the reviews and trusted the clientele input on the product. BIG MISTAKE! I ordered the bag and received it on time. The bag was designed perfectly, but I could tell it wasn’t BLACKHAWK quality off the bat. But for the price it was worth a try. After a week of moderate use one of the shoulder straps came unsewn. Unbelievable! Here I am in the middle of a training exercise and my bag is KIA. Luckily a buddy had an extra bag for me to borrow. LA POLICE GEAR had great customer service. I just can’t believe they sell this inferior product. If you want a great bag to carry your lap top this might be for you. If you are in the military, police or first responder field BUY SOMETHING ELSE. I’m waiting on my BLACKHAWK.
    ProsGreat design

    Impressed
I bought this as a gift, so I can only give an initial impression. Overall quality seems quite good. Stitching is well done. More pockets than I expected which is great. I also bought several Condor accessories to accompany the pack and they also give the impression of quality. The pack is well thought out and executed nicely. I doubt there's a superior pack out there for the money.

Thought it was a good purchase .... Until..
First off. I did not purchase this bag from LAPG, I did pick it up locally and bring it home. It is currently set up as a go bag with some basic needs pre-stored and ready for use. Initial impressions were good and I felt it was a worthy purchase. After 5 months and the most "abusive" treatment being the bag carried from my home, to my car, from my car to my office and back again the mesh pockets have started to rip and separate. Not really impressed considering the bag never so much as saw a camping trip, let alone a hard use or abuse situation. In hind sight I should have spent the extra $30-$50 and gone with a 5.11 / Blackhawk / Maxpedition bag, and never looked back.
ProsValue priced Outer shell and load bearing areas still holding up fine Ample storage space and organization solutions
ConsMesh pockets ripped and separated after only a few months of VERY gentle use. (85% of that time being with the bag in a corner just being "ready" as a go bag)

    Quality Pack for the $$$$
Pack is roomy with lots of compartments. Really like the versatility and possible uses ranging from traveling to hunting. Appears to be high quality construction as well.

    Good First Impression
Pack was purchased as a gift. I have a Camelbak BFM. This week was the first time I have used the pack for a road trip to move child back to VaTech (Go Hokies)...so it held five days worth of clothes, chargers for electronics, kit (fit well in the bottom pocket), etc. At the same time I have mounted a Condor T & T Pouch on the back and another Condor iPouch on the straps so functional it is the same as the Camelbak less hydration unit. My intent is to use this pack as a range bag for targets, ammo, hearing protection, tools, spotting scope, etc. To replace three or four other bags. In the nonrange time more and likely purchase a hydration unit so the wife could use it on our "day" hikes. Love the layout, the upper pocket was used to hold an iPad and with the other additions it is nice. Will let you know how it holds up compared to my TDY bag (camelbak)

    Great pack
We ( family) have purchased 2 of these packs. The 1st one was used as a school pack by a HS senior. 50lbs + books were carried daily in this thing. It was drug, dropped and given the teen age apathy treatment often bestowed on property. The main zipper finally gave out due to the abuse that was heaped on it. I just used the same pack on a week long road trip and really like the accessibility of items as I traveled through the western US. It was great to have things that you frequently need in the smaller pouches. I liked it so much that when I returned home I bought a new one sans the blown out main zipper. I will be using this pack as luggage on most of my trips unless I need to carry a suit.

Review for Condor Tactical 3-Day Assault Pack
Got this pack as an alternative to my Ares Combat pack... The ares is great, but was a bit small on the inside compartment. This pack looked to be a bit bigger and came in atacs which is what I needed. First, this pack is much larger than the picture leads you to believe, I wasn't unhappy about it though. The main compartment has compressions straps which would be used to secure a change of clothes. I don't that feature much, but only because I don't intend to store clothing in the bag. It has two side compartments and two front compartments. The main section has two zipper mesh pockets. The larger front has some dividers for stuff like maps, documents, and some pen holders. The outside has webbing for attachments, but the only thing I added was condor rip away emt kit. It does have slits for hydration tubes, but no dedicated spot for a bladder. Decent padding on the backing. I originally bought this for work, but due to the room and all the pockets/dividers, this has become my emergency bag loaded with food, survival gear and other supplies. Good quality, seems sturdy. For 80 bucks, I'd pick it over other bags I've spent twice as much for that were capable of less.

Can this bag be used as a carry on bag?
    3 Answers
I have used it a number of times as a carry-on. Works great and no issues from airline staff. The only issue I faced was once it was packed too full and didn't fit in the bin. Resolve the issue by removing a couple of items and threw them in smaller "under the seat" bag.

It cannot. They will make you check it. The condor day pack is perfect for carry on though. Good amount of room and still compact

I use mine as a carry on every time I travel. I've only checked it once and that was purely because I didn't feel like carrying it. Just don't over fill it and you will be just fine.

Yes. I have used my bladder in the plate pocket as well in the designed location in the main compartment. There are several holes and routing location for the tube. I suggest using a piece of cardboard to protect the bladder in the main compartment if you have sharp items that could puncture it.
