    Great item. Great price.
Tons of storage with smartly placed zippers. Wish it could accommodate my 17" laptop however.

    Nice Updates
Had an older model and was fantastic! The changes are minor but really improve the quality.
    ProsPlenty of room and pockets!
ConsUnless you are shown how to unclip the buckles they are tricky to figure out. But much easier then the old ones.

    Great backpack
The back pack is better than I hoped for. Fits my laptop easily. Main compartment has room for edc pouch and lap top accessories organizer, plus note book, mouse and has plenty of room for additional items of needed. Fits great and with lap top and all my daily gear feels great and sits well on back.
    ProsMain compartment very roomy

    Awesome Pack
I had this pack previously and over the last 10 years it deteriorated through wear and tear. I still have the old pack. So when this hit the sale it's definitely worth the price lot of room lot of good features sturdy pack.

    Big but not big enough
The descriptiom states that this back pack will accommodate a 15 inch lap top. My 15 inch laptop kinda fits. The area for the lap top must br stretched for the lap top to fit. You can not safely zip the lap top compatment with out putting stress on the corners of your lap top. Will it fit, sure of you fotce it. Other than that it's a good bag.
ConsBig but not big enogh to safely carry your 15 inch lap top.

    good backpack
Bought for my son. My wife has the a couple of the smaller version of this backpack and absolutely loves it. Those are no longer available so when I saw this on sale I thought my son my like it. They are not the same. This is a good backpack and has many nice pockets but the material is not as good as the smaller version.

    Great design
This bag has so many features and storage compartments. It functions very well for a big variety of uses. I have only used it once so far, but it appears to be very well constructed. My only wishes are that it is waterproof (I bought a $7 waterproof cover for it), and that it had a few more areas to easily attach items on the outside. Overall...excellent.
ProsSolid design. Very nice construction. Comfortable Many storage areas.
ConsNo waterproof. Not enough external areas to add on small items

Works as great as it looks~
I have three other backpacks, a blackhawk, another oakley, and then a lifepac from one of those fundme things. All three of these backpacks are great, this one's even better. To be fair, the blackhawk is more durable (for military use, what else do you expect?), but this backpack balances comfort, style, and functionality. It has three main compartments (the big one divided in two+the one behind the main one) with a sidezipper for easy access to contents. It is well-balanced and has tons of room/divisions for a variety of things. If you use games, cameras, technical gear in general, this is great for that. I have it as a universal storage and it took the contents from two separate backpacks with tons of room to spare. Do i think it can handle three backpacks worth? No. But it can certainly handle two. If this is on sale, do not miss it, it's a great buy.

    This back pack rocks...
Currently using this pack on an overseas trip. Many compartments, and adjustments. It stays put on my back and doesn't move around. Weight is distributed nicely. Laptop, slr camera, ipad mini, video camera, and some clothing, all fits great. Awesome pack.
ProsFits well. Holds a ton of stuff...

Does the main compartment zip closed or is it just a flap that buckles shut?

There is a zippered main compartment under the flap.

It zip closed and has side access for a laptop. It’s a good bag the front Velcro’s shut might be an issue down the line but the flap s unfelt goes over it

3 clips on top flap. After opening flap U have double zipper on main compartment! Heavy duty material seems well made! The 3 clips 2 open flap getting 2 main compartments could b a nuisance.

It has a main compartment that is 2 parts, the laptop slot at the back (that is accessible by a side zipper) and a very roomy part in front of that. Then there is a velcro section that has little pockets and dividers that the main flap with the 3 buckles covers. Hope this helps.

Main compartment does zip closed, but the outer part that would house pens and other things only has two flaps that Velcro over it and then the flap snaps across that, but the large, main compartment does zip.
