I want a pressure switch that has both a "hold for on" and a "toggel on/off". How does this pressure switch work?
    1 Answers
This is the manufacturer’s description of that switch operation: The dual mode feature is two buttons in one switch so that you can independently control your lights functions by choosing momentary or steady on. The steady switch uses hard/soft touch technology allowing settings to be changed in two different ways. Hard touch: Simply click through the functions (light will turn off in between settings.) NOTE: Some lights will reset to first setting (100% ON) after being off for 10 seconds. Soft touch: Press button halfway with no click. This allows the user to cycle through the settings quickly without the light turning off between settings. The momentary switch activates the light only while pressure is being applied to the button. (Light will change settings with each use. *NOTE: Some lights will reset to first setting (100% ON) after being off for 10 seconds.) PROTEC™ Dual Mode Pressure Switch is the accessory to have, especially if you already have NEBO® or iPROTEC™ flashlight.

how does the remote portion of the pressure switch mounts to the trigger area or hand grip portion of the weapon (the end of the coiled wire). Is it self-adhering or does it need a fastener of some type?
    1 Answers
mounting the switch itself would be your choice it is not self adhering so you would have to decide the best way to mount the pressure switch.

I understand that the 5 functions can/must be stepped through, to select the desired function. Does this start at the top of the sequence after a certain/specific amount of time, every time? Does this retain/store the last selected function and start with the last selected function, not sequencing through?

the light will cycle through the modes easily with the pressure switch. the light will revert though back to the high setting though if not turned on after a few moments.
