Really a good deal
Really well made with lots of room. Perfect for taking one or two firearms to the range. The best thing about it is being able to add Molle gear if you need to take extra space. I don't how you could beat the price.
Pros Well made, lots of room, handles Mollie add ons

This bag is great to carry the everyday essentials from home to office. The radio area works well with the department issued radio and is the right size to carry note pads, IPad, micro-recorders etc. I recommend it to anyone who wants a light easy carry gear bag.
ProsDivision of compartments, dual carry system, size, and adaptability.
ConsZippers sometimes get caught in a bind but no big deal just back it up and go again.

Great quality and lost of space! Easily fit 6 AR mags in the elastic loops in the front pocket even though advertised 3. Strap seems a bit flimsy but surely more than good enough for range use. If you need a beefier strap, get a surplus carry strap for $4 from any surplus store/website. Great for the range and surely great for bugout, first responder, etc

Gotta Love LAPG Gear Bags.
I got one of these Zombie Bags to hold my every time Range Gear IE: Glasses, Muffs, CZ82 backup/bugout gun, with mags, and it is always in the car with me. I have several LAPG Bags, like 10 or so, and the one thing I can't get over is how well this stuff is made, and the low prices. I have a $300 Backpack which isn't as nicely made as my LAPG 3 Day Backpack which cost $25 on sale! The quality of these products rivals any brand out there and is in excess of many products that cost several times more. Whoever is designing LAPG's products deserves a Big Gold Star and a raise !!! When I buy stuff I look at value for my money first. Once in a while I find an outfit that produces well above expectations, and I am of the mind that just because something costs more, doesn't mean it is better. Been burned too many times on that one. Why spend $100 on a "Range Bag" when a $20 tool bag will do exactly the same thing, and leaves money for lots more ammo! Nope this particular bag is very nicely made and is a handy size which fits behind the seat nicely and carries everything I need for a day at the range minus whatever long gun I am shooting. Randy
ProsVery well thought out. Very well made. Convenient size with plenty of pockets for Misc stuff. Excellent Value for the money.

A good buy at the sale price.
I bought 2 of these bags. One for handgun and the other for AR-15. (I'm passed the diaper bag age.) They are well made and tough. Ammo pouches fit perfect. They are the right size for me.
ProsWell made, lots of room, good size pockets, zippers are strong, I like the big shoulder strap.

This bag is perfect for the range, travel or extra duty bag! I use this bag for all three purposes!

GREAT day-bag for the range, get-home bag for the car, etc.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and workmanship of this bag, the stitching is outstanding, inside and out. It's way more durable than I expected - the materials appear to be top notch and it's assembled symmetrically and tight. The zippers are excellent - no drag or binding - and the Velcro is NOT that plastic'ky tape stuff that lifts on the corners and snags skin when grazed. It's properly stitched onto the material and holds strong without having to smash the two sides together. The elastic/Molly webbing appears to be excellent as well, though I haven't tested it extensively. I see no indications of questionability though, I've stuffed a flashlight into each one just to loosen everything up and it's tight and returns to form without stretching. The pockets are thought out and well placed - when this bag is filled to the brim with gear it still closes nicely and holds everything in place. I've bounced mine around the bed of a truck on long offroad trips and everything remained totally secure. The more I use this bag the better it gets - it forms nicely to my gear without wearing thin. I expect it'll last for a long time under my regular use. My only complaint is the shoulder strap, it's terrible IMO. If you plan to shoulder this bag to any lengthy degree you'll definitely want to replace the shoulder strap with something else - even an old laptop bag strap (with steel clips) is sufficient but the plastic hardware and wimpy material of the strap doesn't compliment the rest of this bag. I realize this bag was likely designed and intended to be carried by the handles so adding the strap is a nice "extra" but it's just that - extra. It's not a large bag so be sure to verify the dimensions vs. your needs before buying it, but it's exactly what I was looking for - I highly recommend it and I plan to order more, at least one for each of my kids as their range/shooting/excursion bags, and I'll likely replace other bags that I've worn out with these.
ProsQuality material, excellent construction, intelligent pockets, useful and practical features, excellent size, rugged
ConsShoulder strap seems a different material, shoulder strap hardware is bendy plastic

One of the best kept secrets at LAPG
This is a great bag! The inside is organized better than any other bag LAPG has. The molle allow you to customize it for what the individual wants. The zombie is just the right size for a true bail out bag. I promise I will have more of these bags soon.
ConsThe name. I pasted over this bag for years simply because of the name. Sorry just not into zombies.

2 strikes on the bag/2 thumbs up on Customer Support
I bought this bag and it looked like a good bag made of quality material. After a few months, the stitching separated at the handle and zipper area. Customer Support was great with replacing it with a new bag. Unfortunately, the new bag ripped in the exact same spot. Customer Support was contacted again and they made it right with no push back.
ProsGreat customer support!
ConsStitching around the zippers is unreliable.

Good size, useful compartments, delaminated within a few months of intermittant use.
More voluminous than would appear, inside dividers well laid out. Would be great piece of kit if not delaminate within a few month of light use.
ProsGreat form factor and organization.

After a little over 1 year of everyday use, the interior stitching of the largest outside pocket to the main compartment came undone. I haven't had time to look into any warranty information.
ProsSturdy exterior material, large zippers. Small carry handle allows the bag to stay close to you instead of the ground while being held.
ConsInterior stitching is not durable if you carry a Nalgene bottle.

Great bag for the money. The bag seems to be very well made and I plan on using it for a range bag.

Unlike the LAPG bailout bag, the zombie hunter bag's supplied shoulder strap does not come with a shoulder pad. Does anyone have a shoulder pad recommendation that works well with this bag? Thanks.
You are correct it does not have a shoulder pad but the strap is 2 inches wide and doesn't need a pad IMHO

First, my zombie bag came with a detachable strap. However don't recall a shoulder pad on it. That said I could have take it off. The shoulder pad on my LAPG bail out bag and or the jumbo bailout bag would be quite adequate. I just don't know if LAPG sells them separately.

Okay let me start off by saying both me and my fiance work full time ems. I ordered both the bag for her and myself. I can keep everything I might need through a 24 hour shift in it. It is very tough and durable. The quality of the bag is far beyond my expectations.

How many Zombies can you fit in this bag? Are they big Zombies or little Zombies?
Unfortunately we do not suggest putting Zombies in this bag as it will make a mess on your hunting gear.

You can fit a couple of adult males or several females if you use an LA Police Gear fire starter to cook them down first :)

I'd like to fit two hard plastic gun cases measuring 12"x7"x5" together in the main central compartment. Will these both fit? If not, do you have a similar "messenger style" molle bag that would fit?
Unfortunately you will not be able to fit both side by side as this item only has a depth of 7" total. the depth that you would need would be 10".
on March 3, 2016
Sorry, think you may have misread. I measured the boxes together - each box is not 5" wide. Thanks.

Terribly sorry about the mistake with your answer. But the inner dimensions are as follows for this bag - 11"(L) x 9.5"(H) x 4"(D) <= So I don't think that it will be a good fit with this bag. However, we do have a few really good options that you can look into that may be more suited for your needs such as the following - http://www.lapolicegear.com/tabaoutbag.html <= The inner dimensions for this one is 15" x 10.5" x 6" I believe this one would work as well - http://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-bg-rangebag-basic.html We also have a step up from that which includes internal magazine pockets - http://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-bg-rangebag-basicplus.html I hope that helps!

I'm considering this bag to use as a large pouch from a battlebelt, but it looks like the molle on the bag is on an access panel. Are the sewing on the panel and the zipper sturdy enough to withstand the fully-loaded (10 pounds?) bag's hanging from them?
we do feel that this item could take the weight just fine as long as they bag itself was connected to the belt properly and evenly to distribute the weight equally across the whole bag on the belt. as long as this is set up right it should take the weight just fine. please keep in mind though that this bag was designed for a shoulder or hand carry though and not intended for this kind of use so we can not say how long the bag will last.
