    Nice bag but heavy
I like the size and shape of this bag. I was looking at using it for both bugout and backpacking trips. However it's much heavier than I expected. Compared to other contemporary backpack bags it's weight will limit its use. I might just stick to using it as a bugout bag to use with a vehicle where walking is not going to be too extensive.

Solid pack, a few areas for improvement
Overall, the pack is good, though I have no field time with it yet. I can neither recommend for or against it at full value, though on sale it would be a very good buy. I have not encountered any game-stopping flaws. At 6.5lbs, it's a decent weight: not ultralight, but certainly lighter than many. The material feels good and durable. The lid pocket is OK; not as capacious as many packs. The pockets are only marginally useful if the pack is full, and the bottom pocket is difficult to (un)zip; I would imaging that it would be even more problematic with cold or gloved fingers. I would love to see a revised version, with a few changes: * re-examine the bottom compartment zipper situation * omit the front pocket entirely * replace the side pockets with either a bit of MOLLE or sewn-on pouches external to the main body I think, with those changes (especially the bottom compartment zipper) this would be a killer starter pack.
ProsSimple design and solid construction Not overly tactical (personal preference) Good belt and shoulder straps
ConsPockets are only marginally useful with the pack filled Bottom compartment is difficult to get into

Great bag for a great deal
Great size for all your overnight or multiple day hiking or hunting trips. Plenty of pockets for your need to know where things are or quick grab items. Very sturdy and comfortable. All straps fit and adjust easy and are well padded for all day comfort. The back has panels that allow air flow to help keep you cooler while in use. A+ bag for an amazing deal
ProsComfortable Easy to use Built well Easy organization

    Worked great for Turkey hunting
This pack worked excellent for a turkey hunting trip. Carried ammo, hatchet, shovel, chair, lunch, general hunting supplies and strapped in a shotgun on each side. Hiked over 20 miles including about 6-7 in heavy rain and had no back pain. The support structure is designed well. I would say the bag is very water resistant but not water proof. Some moisture came through the material but it was minimal. Considering the weather conditions, i was happy with that. Only issue that came up was a small non-essential strap on top of the bag popped its stitches when i tugged it. I don't think it was a construction flaw because i should have grabbed the actual lifting strap. Its hard to tell in the photos, but it is designed with a large bottom pocket and the main storage area sits on top of it. This is a great feature because it does not allow all the weight to sit at the bottom of the bag. Coupled with the hardened back plate, the load is evenly distributed. For a long range hiking trip i would highly recommend this bag over the 3 or 5 day packs that are sold.
ProsLarge carrying capacity Weight is evenly distributed Durable material Molle and extra straps allow for many items to be attached on the outside Top Side has a cover and underneath has less rugged but waterproof material

    LA Police Gear LNT Pack
This pack I am using for Search and Rescue operations. It has the proper size and amount of pockets and allowed me to add two outside molle attachment pouches to increase storage space and have quick access to my headlamp and first aid gear.

Great design and construction but. . .
It looked bigger in the picture but it's still a decent size, feels great on the back, and the construction seems strong, the pockets are pretty stiff and don't stretch bigger to stuff in more and a couple of the double zipper lines aren't flush next to each other. I personally was hoping for something bigger but I guess that's my fault for not knowing how big 60L is. Still a great pack I'm gonna make work. If your looking for a 48/ 72 hour pack this is a good choice
ProsStrong Great material Lots of pockets Molle webbing
ConsNot very wide Pockets don't stretch/ kinda stiff too

    First Impressions
OK first of all just received the pack. I am a backpacker with top of the line gear. I have Osprey packs and believe they are top of the line for what I do. SO wanting a pack that would be a viable get home bag, when this came on the market, with a HIP BELT that looked like it would work, I ordered immediately. I was looking for a pack without spending the money on a pack. I do not want to invest, nor risk my expensive backpacking gear being stolen laying around in the backseat of my pickup. I hope that conveys the frame of mind, we all want to prepare but not spend a lot of money on what if. For the first impression, well, I am impressed. For the money you can't go wrong. Can you load it down with a lot of weight? Well there are 4 lash points on the top lid, and 4 lash point webbings on the bottom. The front pocket measures 10x14 inches and the side pockets are 6x12 inches. The pocket on top of the lid is 6x9 inches. The water bottle holders fit a Nalgene nicely without "cramming" if you know what I mean. Shoulder straps seem adequate for what they should be...to keep pack from falling backwards. The hip belt is well padded and is removable, held in place by Velcro, however secure. The partition between main compartment and bottom zippered compartment is OK. Nylon separator secured by a zipper. Would just a soon have Velcro but it is well made and should handle most loads as long as you don't get too carried away with forceful packing, otherwise unzip and cram hard. Can't wait too throw some weight in it and give it some miles. Molle on the front pocket but not TOO MUCH. With a rain cover this could easily become a gray man pack for that bigger mile travel to get home. Not TOO tactical and those that share my mindset know what I mean. This pack has what you need and nothing you have to have. LA Police Gear gave you what you need and nothing that you don't. We would all like a few more bells and whistles, but stop and think about weight and cost. This pack is so long overdue for the average person that WANTS to do something to prep, but is unable because of COST it's not funny. If you are a weekend hiker that want a little more room without spending the big buck this is for you. I think this will be a HUGE seller for LA as there is NOTHING else like it on the market for the cost. And THAT my friends is my honest FIRST IMPRESSION!! Hope everybody else finds their niche.
ProsExtra lash points, compression straps, generous water bottle holders, outside pockets
ConsFor this money, are you serious?
