    Great product
Very low profile no sliding up or down like traditional over the pants knee pads always in the right place at the right time I would recommend for anyone that is a mechanic, law enforcement or military.
ProsTakes a ton of stress off the knees.
    ConsCan't think of any.

    Knee pads
These work great in a training session for technical rope rescue I would recommend these and if you have sensitive knees like I do just use a second pair
    ProsEasy to use
ConsMay not be thick enough for some people

Worthy purchase: invest in your knee protection
Nice, value set. I wouldn't use it for "extremes" (that's what hard shell plastic ones are for), but already tried them on, from yard work (including over the gravel) to tactical (rapid kneeling and getting up from prone position on the range), and they're adequate for such light to medium duty. Proper fit for TrueSpec 24/7 pants and BDU trousers.
ProsProper fit, functional for light to medium duty.
ConsNone. (Well, went on sale a week after my purchase, lol).

    Discrete Knee Protectiion
This neoprene pad fits any tactical pants discretely that have a knee pocket. It's not the thickest pad out there , but for the value offered by LAPG they can't be beat. Definitely better than no knee protection at all.
ProsFairly good size. Shape fits most knee pockets. Very economical protection. Extremely light.
ConsShould be slightly thicker for protection. They have no securing feature attached. A little Velcro will take care of that. Not to be placed in laundry, so just take them out for laundering.

How did I get along without these before
Great item. Built in knee pads are a blessing you will not appropriate until you forget to put them in one morning.
    ProsGreat size and comfortable.
ConsNot sure about the pad shape, but that isn't as important as that they work.

    Save your knees
If you have ever knelt on a pebble and it felt like kneeling on nails, then you will appreciate these pads. They blend into the pants and are hardly noticeable, until you kneel down, then you will know they are there... What a pleasure!

    Meets... barely meets needs.
In balance useful but not as affective as I hoped. Odd shape cases a little struggle to insert. I bought 2 sets and doubling up is a bit bulky but helped.
    ProsThin but ok utility.
    ConsThin

    Neoprene knee pads
not a lot to say - decent thickness, same form factor as the big-name pads. I'll be getting more of these!
Prosinexpensive built like the name brand pads

You won't know they are there till you need them
I recently acquired a new pair of LAPG pants and opted to get the neoprene tactical knee pads. I shoot USPSA pistol competitions and wear a traditional knee pad as necessary for stages that require shooting while kneeling - frequently on a stone/gravel surface. These pads are a great compromise: allowing more comfort while still protecting your you during occasional kneeling.

The only pants that we currently make that accommodate knee pads are the Atlas pants: https://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-pt-atlas-pant.html

I'm new to the knee pad idea. The text reads, "durable and easy to apply": 1 - Are these peel & stick sticky backed and are "applied" on pants without knee pad pockets or is the wording just confusing? 2 - Being Neoprene (the SCUBA suit stuff I presume) are these 'okay' to leave in pant's knee pockets when laundering or 'should be' or 'must be' removed before washing? Thanks

There is no adhesive backing on the pads. Your pants would need to have pockets. Flat side of pad facing top, that mean you would insert the Round side pointing downward. Remove the Neoprene pads before you wash your pants.

JC, I bought these not too long ago for a recent training. These are NOT peel & stick. They go into pockets that are sewn into the knees of the pants. They are fairly easy to put in & remove. I removed mine from the knee pockets for washing but I guess you could leave them in, your choice. CB

Just bought a pair to go with the Atlas STS pants (which are great BTW). The pants have pockets designed to hold these. I don’t believe there is peel and stick feature. If so, I don’t know why. I inserted them into the pocket and they’re good to go. I take them out when I wash the pants. They provide great coverage and protection. Very happy. We usually wear external pads and still do when we’re doing a lot of position shooting but these are great if you occasionally need to drop to a knee or go prone. If you’re doing a lot of this however, I’d stick to hard shell externals.

The pads are very thin not bulky they’re very easy to install, they go in from the bottom of the pants inside a slot or pocket if you will, they go in upside down and will not fall out once in there you cannot see them once inside, they are not stickers and there nothing to peel, they go in and out in no time 10 seconds and NO, I would not wash the pants with the pads inside, I like the pads but I love the pants, they’re well made and very comfortable with the pockets in the right place to hold your essentials without getting in the way

They fit into the built-in knee pocket. I would not recommend leaving them in for washing and drying. They are not difficult to remove.

No sticky backing. They do slide into knee pocket and work great. They are made of neoprene but they do need to be removed before pants are washed

I was my knee pads in the pockets all of the time. Grey pants with black knee pads, but no issues to date.
