Blackhawk Warrior Wear Desert Ops Boot
A totally comfortable boot out of the box. Will never be able to find that price again on closeout. Very sturdy and the insoles have an extra thick cushion. I've worn many different brands of boots and believe this will be my fav. Going to purchase a backup pair in another color. Lot of people have complimented on how great they look, and also want a pair.
ProsVery light and comfortable. Well made. Instant comfort.
    ConsLast pair in Sage.

    Nice Fit...
I purchased these boots a few weeks back, as a "kick-around" pair. I wore them to work the first day (at a state prison) and found out the hard way that they are not able to pass through our metal detectors without serious problems. Had to take them off to pass through. No biggie, though. I'll continue to wear them for home and field use. The fit is great and the out sole is very grippy and self cleaning. The only thing I'd like to see on them would be a side zip. All-in-all, a great purchase at 30 bucks!
ProsNice fit Price Grippy Out Sole
ConsNot "airport" friendly No Side Zip

    Great Boot!
These boots are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I am a female but the men's boot fit me great. Very lightweight and there is a lot of cushion on the soles. I used to have issues with the bottoms of my feet when I wore work boots but haven't with these.

Good for desert, but not for much else
If I were to use these on garrison duty in the war zones, or somewhere else that required desk, barracks, mounted, or light walking use, they'd be great. I needed them for heavy mountain and woodland use in the US, specifically for tactical movement training and bivouac. I admit these were not the right boots for the job, but I hoped they were up to the task I required, which turned out to be a bit more than the boots' construction could handle. If you intend on light duty, these are great for your feet, but I do not recommend them for harder use, or as one-stop, zed apocalypse boots.
Pros- they have rough and good toe and heal rubber pads - they fit well without a break-in - Gore-Tex and some light insulation for cooler and wetter weather - good fit for non-combat running and hiking
Cons - the sole started coming off the boot after only 3 days (cumulative; not even in a row) of medium-activity woodland use - when submerged, water comes right into the top of the foot of the boot, so I guess the waterproofing doesn't cover the lacing or tongue - they hold moisture in better than a thermos - they hold foot odour in better than any other boot I have ever used - they loosen up gradually over time, and that's bad when I'm running downhill and my toe bashes the inside front of the boot, making my day slightly worse - the nylon uppers tended towards fraying at the ankles where they were exposed to rocks and heavy, thorny brush

    Blackhawk Boots
I have worn this particular style of combat boot for seven years. I have worn them in the desert and the mountains. The boots are comfortable, breath well and can take a beating.

a great boot for summer ops and training however I wear a 10 wide and next time I would order 10.5. I feel a bit cramped in the toe and cannot wear thicker socks for this reason. Good luck, Tim

    Are these boots slip resistant?
    2 Answers
In the usage I've had, they are not. Thats been in dry and wet conditions. Dusty and muddy conditions. Walking on surfaces that are sometimes smooth and up surfaces that are sloped. So you might want to look at something else if you need slip resistant. Overall, I do like the boots. Wear and feel is great.

    Are these boots slip resistant?
    2 Answers
Yes they are... And darn comfortable too! Not sure of your environment, but I have had very little slipping around. May not be the best choice if you are working in a restaurant or are a mechanic as they are split leather. I have one pair that I have had for about five years and wear all the time. They get a good deal of hunting, range, outside work use and have held up very well. I bought an extra pair to start wearing whenever the current ones finally die. Looks like that might take some time as they are still going strong. Hope that helps.

I wear a 10.5 wide in Bates USMC Rat boot. I have read that the sizing of these are a lil off. What, if any, adjustments should be made in size when ordering the BlackHawks?
    1 Answers
The USMC rat boots that we had on close out did run small we would say stay with your normal size of 10.5 wide and they should fit just fine. If the boots do not fit though they can be returned. Please follow the link below for more information on our return policy.

Question about sizing. I wear a 10r in Belleville 795. How do these compare? I also measured the length of my feet and they are about 10.75" long. I do like some room for my toes as they are more square at the toes instead of slanted as some shoes are made. Thank you in advance.
    1 Answers
Would say that the toe box is wider than on some boots, don't know about Belleville boots. My previous experience before the BlackHawks was Altamas and they (Altamas) are more narrow in the toe. I did have to get a half size smaller than I ordered but LA police gear has great customer service.

For a foot that measures 27.5 cm long, you would want to purchase a size 10.5.
