Where could I get a drop-down panel (Fire) for the back of the jacket? Is there a way to customize what the panel reads; for example (Fire, FRFD, or IC)
There are a couple different panel options: http://www.lapolicegear.com/elbeco-meridian-id-fire-panel.html http://www.lapolicegear.com/5taposhidpa.html This also comes with blank panels that you could have customized if you like.

Hi, I was interested in buying this coat, but am a little concerned on sizing. When looking at the tactical 5.11 web site, I seem to sit directly between small and medium. With this being my first tactical 5.11 garment purchase, I was wondering if the tactical 5.11 fit tends to come up on the smaller or the larger side. Thanks for the help Neil
We suggest going with the Medium. This gives you the ability to wear a light sweater underneath for extra warmth and a bit lighter for warmer weather as well.

How does this jacket compare to the aggressor?
According to 5.11 - "The main difference between the two jackets is the inner liner. The Aggressor Parka has a removable color matched fleece liner and the Bristol Parka has a nylon liner. The chest pockets are also different. The Aggressor has our typical hidden document pockets, whereas the Bristol’s chest pockets are smaller with an exposed water resistant zipper. The Bristol is also offered in more colors."

Can any 5.11 fleece liner be used with the inner zipper system of this jacket? Is the sizing the same as the 3-1 jackets?
Yes the fleece liners would use the same zipper system as other 5.11 jackets with removable liners. and as well the sizing would be close between the two of them.

Would this coat be appropriate for use in cold climate (ie. Minnesota, current air temp. 2 F w/o the wind)? If not, do you have any suggestions? Looking for a discreet plain clothes LEO coat, preferably one that could conceal an entire duty belt.
This jacket is one of the warmer jackets in the 5.11 line and with some layering under neath it should met your needs just fine.

what is the temp rating for the Tactical Bristol Parka 48152?
5.11 does not provide temperature ratings for there jackets since cold is relative to the person wearing the jacket and the environment they are in, i.e. what is cold to the person in North Dakota is not the same as what is cold to the person in Florida. That said, the Bristol is one of the warmer jackets with the liner.

are the micophone loops on this jacket hidden? I dont like the 3 in 1 or the 5 in 1 parka jackets becauase the mic loops are scene, if the are hidden on the bristol parka then it makes it a good covert jacket thanks!
This item does not have the standard mic loops on the shoulder so this would have a more casual look for covert operations.
