Description
The latest version of our Low Loft Jacket updates the sleeve with abrasion resistant panels from the elbow to the cuff. Extremely strong with plenty of stretch, this new style will allow you to get down on your elbows frequently without wearing through the sleeve. The body of the jacket is made of 70 denier textured nylon fabric, keeping the weight of the garment down without reducing protection from the elements. Nylon rip stop lining is quilted to 2 oz PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation, keeping the wearer warm with less bulk. Hand warmer pockets are sewn directly into the seam for a clean-finished look. Bicep pockets have 7” zippers for secure storage, and 2” x 3” of VELCRO® brand patches are provided on our MultiCam® version to display any necessary badges. Shoulder seams are eliminated to reduce chafing, and the dropped tail covers the back. The back portion of the hem is elasticized to enhance fit and to prevent core-chilling wind from coming up through the hem.

What temperature range is best for this jacket? I live in NC and I am debating the low loft vs the high loft. I don't want to get something that will be too hot or not enough.

how warm this jacket will make you does depend on how much you do layer up or is needed. from what we are able to see if you do layer up under the jacket it should do just fine in the cold snowy weather but if you were to lightly layer up underneath it would do just fine in the cool nights as well.
