Is this pack top load only? Or is there a panel to unzip on the side somewhere? There isn't much info out there. And no videos.

Could I carry a tent, as well as most camping gear. Will this make a good bug out bag?
    2 Answers
I would have to say it's quite possible to carry a tent, but obviously you need to be realistic with what size you are trying to carry. The bag has a TON of straps on the outside for carrying extra things as well as 2 extra straps you can put where ever you need them (I assume many would work for a sleeping bag/tent). Also I purchased mine with the intent of using it as my bug out bag (as mine had become inadequate) and I think it's perfect for it. Look at the dimensions and take out a tape measure to make sure it will work for you. The zipper on the front/bottom goes to the bottom of the bag where you could put something like shoes and it has a divider above it to deprecate your things in the main pouch from the bottom, but it also can be unzipped making the inside of the bag the full length. Hopefully this helps, any other questions I would be happy to help. I was pleased with it, hopefully you will be too.

It will hold a medium size sleeping bag and a tent. I currently have the tent in the upper compartment with sleeping bag in lower. It will make a great bug out bag. That's what I use it for. Consider adding pouches to exterior because there is not much organization to it. Is bigger than it actually looks. Great bag!

Does this pack have a frame?
    1 Answers
It has semi ridgid padding along the back, but I wouldn't consider it a frame. So in short, no this does not include a rigid frame.

does this pack meet airline carry on (dimension) limitations and is the hip belt removeable
    2 Answers
we show this item will not meet those requirements. Most airlines require the bag to be 22" x 14" x 9" so this item would be too big.

im sure the compression straps on the side will help make that less of an issue
