Due to an inline change Tru-Spec has sent us both the first generation and second generation of these combat shirts. The difference being the direction that the arm pocket zipper opens and closes.

This shirt combines the best of both worlds, the durability and protection of a combat jacket with the comfort of a t-shirt. Based off the current military design that helps reduce the severity of burn injuries while providing a more comfortable uniform top under body armor and vests. The body of the shirt is made from 60% cotton, 40% CORDURA« Baselayer fabric that meets the No melt, No drip thermal requirements officers demand while keeping them cool and dry by wicking away moisture from the body.

  • Body constructed from No Melt, No Drip CORDURA« Baselayer fabric, a 60/40 cotton nylon blend that not only reduces the severity of burn injuries and helps protect against flash fires, but also breathes, wicks away moisture and dries quickly
  • Mock turtle neck
  • Seamless shoulders to minimize rubbing and chafing
  • Zippered sleeve storage pockets
  • Loop on sleeve pockets for attaching name, rank and flag patches
  • Glint tape holder for IR tape
  • Anti-abrasion padded elbow patch
  • Gusseted sleeves
  • Hook & loop cuff closures

Excellent combat shirt that is duty ready.
They were shipped fast and were just as described online. They are a quality shirt. Well made and comfortable.
Prossale price was exceptional. The sleeve pockets are laid out in a more usable fashion than most combat shirts. I like the additional padding/stitching at the elbows.

    Price point perfect
Good, durable shirt. I've worn this shirt for several CRT missions over the last few months and it has held up to a beating. Only complaint is the shoulder pockets/patches are not angled and the elbow pads not only look like giant pizzas on your arm but are a bit useless and prevent you from wearing standard elbow pads should you choose to do so. They should have just stuck with the same sleeve design as the rest of their combat shirts
    ProsDurable. Inexpensive. Lightweight.
ConsShoulder pockets/patch is not angled. Elbow pads are ugly and unnecessary.

ConsSleeves made for a weigh lifter, I can get almost 2 arms inside.

    Comfortable and durable
I have a few pairs which I use for mostly layering while at work and training. The sleeves are of durable material and construction. The fabric for the torso is comfortable but has a tendency to stretch out over time. I have not tried other brands because of cost. The Truspec are a bit pricey but cheaper than competitors.
