    thin
this belt is thin but not too flimsy. i have a wilderness tactical belt and this one is no where close to the quality of the WT belt...and to be fair, I wasn't expected it to be...

    good belt
Overall, a very strong and good belt. It is a little stiff to get through the buckle, however I am sure this will ease up over time. I would buy again.

One of the comments mentioned something about Velcro, Is there hook and loop closure(Velcro) on this belt?
    5 Answers
Yes, there is Velcro that secures the remaining "tail" after it's buckled.

Yes, there is velcro. Belt goes through buckle system then has additional velcro to keep it flat.

Yes, there is velcro, but not top quality. No changing the old saying "you get what you pay for". Worth the 6.99 though......

Is this belt a 5 stitch belt?
    3 Answers
I'll be honest... I didn't know what a "5 stitch belt" meant so I did some research before answering your question. The TRU-SPEC Range Belt is NOT a 5 stitch belt. It does not feature the five sewn-in stitches along the length of the belt to add extra stiffness. I am very pleased with the belt and its quality. It's as well made as another range belt I have that cost five times more than this one did.

No. Does not have any reinforcement or stitching to stiffen the belt to assist in carrying any equipment. It is made of a single layer of webbing and is very flexible. This is a very good web belt to hold up your pants for the price. Have started to use it for office work this past week and I am satisfied with the results so far and the value.

Hi. Got an email from LAPG, asked me to help describe the belt. I had to look up what a "five-stitch belt" is. No, this is not. The belt is standard construction. Thick webbing, folded over for the buckle and stitched only there. Actually it does have hook and pile to attaching the extra end, but that's it. If you want a five-stitch belt you'll have get something else. FYI, I have a 34" waist and the "MED" belt turned to be too short. I can't use it. And it's too cheap to return. Oh well. It's good webbing and I might find another use for it.

Can it be cut to size and still work as intended? (From XXL TO fit 32").

This is standard poly webbing. So, yes you can cut to fit. Just be sure to use a hot cutter, or do a melt treatment on the end you cut to prevent fraying

I don't have a caliper, but I eyeballed it on a tape measure. Looks to be about 2mm thick. It's not very flexible when new, but will probably break in nicely.

    Which size is a 38?
    1 Answers
The sizes for this are as follows - Small = 28-30" Medium = 32-34" Large = 36-38" XLarge = 40-42" 2XLarge = 44-46" 3XLarge = 48-50" I recommend measuring where your belt would lie on your waist to determine the size you would need. You may be better off going with the XL from what I can tell. It's better to get larger than you would normally get so you can cut it to size if necessary.
