A quality pant at a reasonable price.
I bought these in three colors: navy, tan and stone. I found them to be very comfortable and the construction (materials and seams) appear to be very high quality. I think they will last me a long time. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend them to a friend.

    Finally a perfect fit
I have been looking for neat trim pair of pants without success until now. I wanted something more tailored non-baggy than traditional BDUs. I purchased a pair of LAPG Operator Elites. Big mistake. I could wear them since they have a stretch to them, but they looked/felt tight and printed everything, and I mean everything. And the rise on them was too low. I have larger thighs and a round butt so usually have to go to a larger waist size to compensate. Not with these. They fit perfect, not too tight and not baggy. The rise is not low or high. Pocket placement is good as with the overall quality. The stretch waistband has perfect tension. They do run a little long, I baked them in the dryer and only shrank slightly. I would have given the 5 stars except one thing that is lacking, that these don't have is a gusseted crotch. That extra room means a lot if you sit behind a wheel or desk for long periods. I'm 5'10 210 lbs bought a 36x32
ProsPerfect cut- not baggy and not hip hugger tight. Tapered back pocket flaps keep them from rolling sliding in and out of your vehicle. Pocket placement is great and not overly excessive. Wife said thank goodness the diaper butt is gone.
ConsNo crotch gusset to keep the "boys" happy.

    Perfect Weight! Loads of stowage!
These pants have tons of stowage and the internal pockets inside the cargo pockets are invaluable. The waistband gives just enough to allow comfortable movement and you can tuck thick shirts in without constriction. Great weight for most temps unless brutally hot (but then what does feel good) and I can wear a pair of cold gear pants under these with ease.
    ProsFit, weight, stowage

    Very functional
I've been in law enforcement for 21 years and for the past 10 years or so, I've worn this pant for training, day to day wear as well as part time jobs
ProsFlexible waist mag pouches inside pockets
ConsColor fading can be an issue depending on the amount of wash and wear.

    TRU SPEC 24/7 cargo pants
I ordered these pants because I already have three other pair and love them. I especially like the adjustable waist panels which make them fit me just right. The only feature I don't care for is the Velcro pocket closures. I think that button or snap closures might be better.
    ProsAdjustable waist band.
    ConsVelcro pocket closures.

    Better than 5.11
These pants will replace every other BDU-type pants you have in your closet. Their pocket placement, solid stitching, and clean cut (at an affordable price) makes these pants superior over competing brands. Whether for shooting, for duty, or for general hard use, the pockets are practical and plentiful - without adding unnecessary baggage. These pants are the greatest.
ProsPractical pocket placement, clean cut (not too baggy), water resistant, great-looking waistband (elastic material doesn't bunch up)
    ConsAbsolutely none

Seriously, Best Pant for the $$$$
First time with Tru-Spec pants. Love the feel and being 6'7" love the fact they make them un-hemmed. Now I have pants that won't shrink and the length that I need. Great fit, and love the options with all the pockets. Very comfortable working or hiking. Stylish too, wife loved them.
Pros- Come un-hemmed - Multiple options with the pockets. - Great feel and comfort.
Cons-Don't know how I feel about the elastic band connecting the front pocket to the pant.

No gusseted crotch = Pain in the groin!
I actually bought FIVE pairs of 24/7 Tactical pants! BIG mistake! I really tried to love them, really! And I failed! We American men (well, MOST of us...) still have their gear attached and we need more room for it! Because pants have no crotch gusset, they are very uncomfortable when you sit, or drive vehicle, or climb, etc. and it affects blood circulation in the groin. It literally hurts! Also, Tru-Spec should reinforce small vertical "knife" pockets, because the fabric they use now (either 100% cotton or mixed synthetic/cotton) is not strong enough to hold folding knives or pistol magazines. It wears out quickly. I am going to contact Tru-Spec and ask them for full refund. If they refuse, I'll take them to the small claim court.
ConsLack of crotch gusset = lack of flexibility = very uncomfortable, hurts the groin. Weak material on "knife" pockets.

Two questions: 1) I'm considering these as a concealed carry option but fall right between sizes (waist measures 43" with gear). Is the waist measurement fairly accurate or do they tend to run loose/tight? 2) I have read the responses about the thighs being roomy/very roomy, but can anyone quantify those descriptions? I ask because my thighs measure 28" circumference and I'm not in a hurry to blow out any seams.
    1 Answers
I have seven pairs of these pants and each is the size stated on the label. The waist has elastic in it that expands about an inch. The thigh area measures just about 29 inches and the legs taper in towards the calf. I own several other brands of tactical pants and they have a smaller thigh measurement.

    I usually wear a 31" inseam. Should I order 30" or 32"? Thank you.
    1 Answers
If you'd like the pants to be a little looser fit I would go with the 32. If you like a slimmer fit I would go with the 30. These pants run pretty true to size so it's mostly on preference if you're between sizes.

Out of all of these colors which are the lightest? Also, I'm kind of in between sizes. I wear 34 in some pants & 36 in others. Which would you recommend? Is it a 34 waist plus the give of waistband or is the waistband partly stretched to be a 34?
    1 Answers
By my measurement, the 34 waist is at 34 inches when relaxed and stretches to about 38 inches when fully utilizing the elastic waistband. It's one of the nice hidden waistband so you won't run into any bunching. As for the lightest color, Stone would be the color you would want to choose, than khaki would be the next lightest. Hope that helps!

We don't have any experience in Carhart cargoes, but definitely do with 5.11's. We switched to these awhile back to see if we'd like them better and we definitely do. The 5.11's in our opinion were tight in the leg and crotch area. We like the Truspec's a lot better. They are roomier in both areas when compared to the 5.11's. Hope this helps!

I feel these pants are very roomy in the thighs I always feel the deep pockets almost to the brim with keys, flashlights, stethoscope, other every day carry items and still have plenty of room for my hands. These are my go to pants everyday. The slider waistband is great too. I'm diabetic and have an insulin pump. I carry my pump in my pocket under the slider in the waistband so I have no tubing ti get hung up on why working.
