Description
Durability and dead-on accuracy have made Troy Industries Folding BattleSights the hands-down choice of Special Ops and tactical users worldwide. Easy to install and to deploy, with no levers or springs to fumble with, these sights position apertures at exact factory height. A stainless-steel cross-locking system ensures sights remain upright and zeroed under extreme combat conditions. A push of a button folds the sights securely out of the way until you need them again (they fold to a profile of just 0.460). Troy BattleSights feature a zero-canting attachment system for use on all military and aftermarket receivers.

Features:
  • No tools are required for adjustment
  • Each click equals .50 MOA of adjustment
  • Blackened Stainless Steel
  • MIL-SPEC Type III Hard Coated
  • T6 Aircraft Aluminum construction
  • Available in Black and Flat Dark Earth
  • Will not work on railed front gas block mounted lower than receiver height
  • Made in the USA

Just because the light’s not perfect doesn’t mean your aim shouldn’t be. Troy Industries’ TRITIUM BattleSights are designed for twilight or any low-light situation. TRITIUM is a form of hydrogen that emits a continuous light source where using batteries or electricity is not possible. The front post is centered between two Tritium points of reference to allow proper alignment, eliminating the poor sight orientation that’s typical in twilight.

    Perfect Sights
Purchased the set front and rear for my duty rifle. Put them on before I qualified and they were just great. Right on target. Well worth it for sure.

Can the sight post be removed and replaced with a standard AR post? I already have a tritium night sight front post and don't want to pay for the tritium sight if I can use the one I already have.

Honestly I've never removed mine but it looks just like a standard front sight post (same size with 4 detents for adjustment). Whether it fits or not, you will never regret spending the money on these sights. Absolutely the toughest, most well made sight on the market.

I have a Sig R556-16B-FS-RD Patrol Swat. The 'RD' (Rotary Diopter) is the question...will this front sight work seemlessly with the 'RD'? I have an EoTech 512 and their stock front sight clutters the FOV so if this troy front sight fixes that problem- great, but if not- suggestions?
    2 Answers
I believe you would need one of Troy's micro sights to match the viewing plane of the Sig rear diopter (could be wrong on this since I don't have my 556 here with me). Only problem is that I don't think Troy sells them individually, only as a front/rear set. Hope this helps.

I don't believe that the Troy M4 sight will fix the problem by itself. The Sig sights are on a lower plane that what is found on the M4 and you'll have zeroing problems withe a Sig rear and Troy front. If you want to go with the Troy folding sights, your best bet is to use both the front and rear sights that Troy makes for the M4. this will allow you to co-witness with the Eotech. You would also be able to fold the sights to get them out of your FOV.

Will this sight work for my Anderson AR15?

These sights were designed to fit standard picatinny rails, so if your AR15 has standard picatinny rails, these folding sights will fit.
