I've owed this jacket for a couple of years and it's great. Good looking, functional and we'll made. I would recommend this item to any wanting a jacket with those three traits.

Decent for the price!
Not bad at all! I use this a lot as just grab and go jacket for walks to the mailbox, store, drives in to town. It's warm down to low 50's, high 40's with a t-shirt and long sleeve shirt. Although not water proof, it does seem to hold up ok with light rain when outdoors for short amounts of time and does dry quickly. The only downside might be the main zipper, at times it takes a couple attempts to zip.
ProsPrice, warm, pockets, fast drying.
ConsMain zipper a bit finicky at times.

Great fleece killed by horrible zipper
The over-all build of this fleece is nice. It seems to have a tighter fit than most fleece jackets. Nice pocket features, and decent warmth. The cuffs with thumb holes help seal out any breeze from blowing into the sleeves. Unfortunately, the front zipper is the deal breaker on this. The amount of effort required to get the two side to line up correctly is ridiculus. The small things that we never think about when they work correctly and effortlessly, are amazingly frustrating when they do not work. Condor should have spent the few extra dollars on some YKK zippers...
Pros-Athletic fit -Thursday holes in cuffs - Decently warm
Cons- Absolute failure on the front zipper - Useless unless you enjoy wearing a fleece un-zipped

Go to jacket
Great jacket by condor, especially for the price. I wear it regularly in North-West Ohio weather. Lately its been anywhere from +65 to 20ish degrees and its kept me pretty warm. I liked it so much i just ordered a second one so i can keep one at work.
Pros5 pockets hold everything you need Warm enough for cooler temperatures +20 degrees Great zippers Water resistant shoulders keep you pretty dry in light rain Nice Velcro for patches
ConsSleeve glove thingys just get in the way Inside pocket designs could've been better Not a total CON, but another pocket for the right sleeve would be nice

I love the jacket except for the tapered front to back. It makes the product feel like a waistcoat. This is the only negative thing I can say about this product!
ProsLove the feel and fit for the price. Considered buying an extra.
ConsTapered front to back, feels like a waistcoat. I will probably regret this comment later.

Zipper is a hot mess.
I love this jacket--it's warm, great pockets, great fit. But the zipper is as bad as everyone says. It sticks, can be difficult to zip, and I've already seen evidence that the zipper is starting to fray at the base, which means very soon, it will be worthless. Really a shame--this is truly a five-star jacket. Best fleece jacket on the market, but if they don't get the zipper right, they will lose customers. I was all set to buy another one in black, and was going to order a Condor outer shell, but until they fix this issue, I'm not spending the money again.
ProsWarm Great pockets Nice fit velcro panels
ConsHow many times do we say it? ZIPPER IS TERRIBLE.

Owned for 4 years
I have owned this jacked for 4 years and it is still in great shape. It is my go to jacket and from fall to spring I wear it around 5 times a week. I also wear it during winter crossfit workouts so I have put it through the paces. I have not experienced any issues with the zippers like others have and there isn't any signs of stitching coming undone. I think it has quite a few more years left! I have a large black.
ProsDurable, comfortable, looks sharp
Consnone yet, still my favorite jacket!

Zipper is a problem
Agreed with other reviewers, the zipper is low quality, hard to start and often comes apart. Five stars otherwise.
ProsFit is perfect for a reasonable fit build (not for beefcakes)
ConsZipper is super low quality.

ProsNice jacket like the material and cuffs
ConsZipper snags all the time to the point the bottom stiching is coming loose on zipper.

Nice jacket, but cut small!
I'm 6'-6", 240-ish and usually get an XL in shirts & jackets. This jacket barely covers my waistband and is tight across chest and shoulders. It IS warm, though! Just order next size up, I guess.
ProsNice and warm.

Prosvelcro patch locations on shoulders
Consvelcro name plate location would be an improvement

Zipper on the Condor Alpha jacket is poor.
I would have given this jacket a 5 star rating but it hit me right where my pet peeve is. I cannot stand a zipper that snags, very difficult to catch at the beginning and poorly made. Come on Condor, attach a well made zipper and I'm sure you'll sell much more of these.
ProsLightweight and good material.
ConsZipper is horrible. It snags and very difficult to catch and get started at the beginning.

This is a very nice fleece for the money. I would suggest order 1 size bigger. I'm 5'11 220lbs and I ordered a Large. The Large fits, but I can only wear a tshirt underneath.
ProsGreat price Good quality

I would like to purchase this item, and add embroidery over the breast pocket. Can the pocket be moved out of the way from the inside, so the embroidery does not go through the pocket. Thank you
The pocket is stitched in on the inside at the top and the bottom, but you can move it out of the way so that you do not embroider through it, but you would have to probably utilize a safety pin to allow for space for embroidering. It's doable without having to unstitch anything from what I can tell, but i'm not exactly sure how the embroidery machine would work around it.
