    custom fit this yourself
Well built and can easily be modified so the it fits any shotgun. Just take out the stitching at the bottom between the seams and your shotgun will slide in all the way down it it to the receiver. The scabbard is sturdy, and truly handy when taking the gun into the field for quail or dove shooting. Sling it over your shoulder and you're off.
ProsEXTREMELY useful item when modified as above

    Too narrow
This is a nice scabbard but wouldn't fit my shotguns! One is a Beretta 1301 and the other a pump with no optics. Both 12 ga. Maybe I can use it for something else. Check it out with your shot gun before ordering.
    ProsGood quality. Looks good
Conssleeve is way too narrow for 12 ga.

    Save ur money
I ordered this scabbard for my Remington 870. Unfortunately it will not fit inside the scabbard if you have a side saddle shell carrier mounted to your shotgun frame. I also have a small red dot and that too prevents the gun from going into the scabbard. I wish LAPG would have mentioned that in the description. So now I have to pay shipping to send it back. But if you have a plain jane shotgun it should fit.

    Great Scabbard
Lightweight and simple, this scabbard is a great way to transport a shotgun when weight is a factor. The MOLLE webbing allows attachment of ammo pouches or the attachment of the scabbard itself to a pack. These new Condor models feature reinforced sides for increased rigidity. Couldn't ask for more, especially for the price.
    ProsGreat Price, Lightweight, Very Sturdy
ConsA bit narrow. Perfect for a shotgun itself, but cannot accommodate a receiver mounted shell holder.

I Tested This Gear In Alaska
The Scabbard was an effective case for protecting my shotgun. This is definitely not for use for quick draws.
ProsThis is an easy way to carry small arms. When you have the monkey on your back, you don't think about it.
ConsNo drainage at the bottom of the scabbard, my shotgun was rusted after one night in the rain.

    To tight for a light.
Seems like a good product, but the Shotgun it was purchased for has a light mounted on the barrel and the scabbard has no room inside for that. It will still get used for another firearm, but BE AWARE it isn't very wide!

    Condor Tactical Shotgun Scabbard
The scabbard is just what I needed for my Mossberg 500 & Winchester Model 94 lever action 30-30. My interest was to have a way to carry these while climbing/hiking and offer some protection to the firearm. The Condor Tactical Shotgun Scabbard is well made, versatile, relatively light weight at an affordable price.

I want to attach this scabbard to my RUSH 72 pack. Does it come with attachment parts to mount the scabbard to bag or are those separate? If separate, what would I need to mount the scabbard?
    3 Answers
Yes, it comes with the Molle straps. However, just be aware that it is a little bit on the longer side, but, I really like it. I use this case for my breaching shotgun.

Yes it does. If you look at the second picture it shows the condor modular strips that you can loop through the MOLLE loops on your bag. There's no need to purchase any further items to mount ur scabbard.

Will a barrel mounted flashlight (elzetta) fit? Mossberg 500
    4 Answers
Possibly. I have a Mossberg 590 with tac light attached to the barrel via a clamp style mount and it was very snug. I ended up removing the plastic insert from the scabbard and it fit better. I can't promised you it will fit yours though.

Should, look at the dimensions of the bag, use a tape measure on your weapon.

Yes if the flashlight isnt a big one. Moderate size should have no problems.

I doubt a shotgun with a mounted light would fit and if it did it would be difficult to draw. My Mossberg 535 with the slug barrel is rather snug. The lining material snags on my open sights. A plastic liner would have made drawing from it smoother.

I have an 18" pistol grip 500 with the door breaching compensator. The points are pretty sharp. Will this tear through the scabbard?
    4 Answers
Yes it will. I have a 500 Thunder Ranch edition myself. As a matter of fact I went ahead and converted my 870 to a breaches just for that reason. Standoffs on breaching shotguns are only good for tearing trousers and scabbard anyway.

The walls of this scabbard are very thick and durable, will be a long time before you rip through it. However the fit is snug and depending on how much they project it may not slip in and out very quickly. Hope this helps..👍

the scabbard is extremely well made however I would guess breaching points would penetrate the material and make it difficult to quickly access your weapon without getting hung on the material. If there was a cap to cover the points and I have seen them this scabbard would work nice. A walking cane rubber tip could work if you could find a size to cover. You might have to buy a few extra but they are alot less than the scabbard. I use mine with a maverick 88 no breach point and I love the way it carries.

Will this fit a single shot lever action shotgun?
    1 Answers
The fit of your shotgun depends on the barrel length. The scabbard itself is 29" long, so if your barrel is around 26" or 28" it might be too long to fit, but if you have an 18" to 22" barrel it will fit fine.

Can a shotgun with a regular stock, fit correctly in the scabbard or do you need to have a pistol grip stock?
    1 Answers
A shotgun with a standard stock will fit in this Condor Shotgun Scabbard just fine. The retention strap that is holding the shotgun in place by holding onto the pistol grip can be unbuckled and hold onto the stock on the other side and that will keep it in place.

i have a pistol grip 18 in 870 with a shell sadal on the side of the gun ,,,,,will it fit in the sabbard????
    1 Answers
We have seen one review of a customer using a side saddle on their 870. They said it fit but it a little tight. As for the pistol grip, if it is just the grip without a stock, it will fit but will be a able to wiggle around a tiny bit.

Would this work for a pistol gripped h and r single shot with 18 1/2 inch barrel
    1 Answers
This scabbard will fit your shotgun, but we are uncertain of how snug it will be, especially if you only have a pistol grip without a stock. If you order one and it does not fit to your liking, you could always return it.
