Tactical Tailor Rigger Belt

SKU #: TacT-Rigbelt
MSRP: $48.50
Our Rigger's Belts are among the toughest on the market. Made with two layers of heavy duty mil spec webbing and parachute grade buckles, this belt is more rigid and durable than other comparable belts. The loose end features a rubber tip secured with hook and loop fastener. All belts are 1 3/4" wide and will fit through military issue BDU belt loops and most standard belt loops as well.

Solid budget belt
I bought this belt in July and have been using it as every day wear, but due to a super dry summer, only in the past couple of weeks during hunting season have I been able to actually test it out legitimately. I have been hauling around a full nalgene canteen with GI cup and canteenshop stove stand as well as a Becker BK2 knife directly on the belt with a .380 bodyguard in a pocket holster up and down a lot of steep mountainsides and long hikes with no to very little sagging. I haven't really had good reason to haul my full size M&P9 around so I can't comment on that for sure, but I can't imagine it would handle a canteen and not a pistol. This is my first belt of this quality so I don't have anything to compare it to besides a 5.11 TDU (which was terrible, would never stay tight and started fraying after just a couple days of light use, as in holding up a near empty pair of pants). However I am very happy with it. "Unfortunately" I've been losing a lot of weight, and it won't be too long until I run out of velcro which the belt thankfully had plenty of to accommodate this possibility in either direction. I am probably going to look at something else with a cobra buckle just for quickness of donning (not in a hurr durr "operator" fashion, but it takes a long time to get your pants on with this setup when there's heavy stuff on the belt.), but to be clear, I would not hesitate to buy this belt again if I needed to come in at a lower budget. My only real complaint would be the rubber pull tab does not play well with old BDU belt loops. It fits through, but it is a chore to put it in and take it out and really can't be done while wearing them. Not an issue with LAPG "operator" pants.
ProsAffordable Good balance between stiffness and comfort Does it's job well Made in the US (not a deal breaker, but I'd rather have it than not)
ConsDumb rubber pull tab

Great belt
This is my second Tactical Tailor Riggers Belt. The first one last over 3 years of daily abuse before the Velcro gave up and the webbing became so polished that the buckle wouldn't hold tight any longer. I'll gladly purchase another when this one gives up if it last a comparable amount of time
ProsGreat quality, stiff enough for holster carry but still comfortable enough for everyday use.
ConsIt doesn't last forever.
