Bargain, but that doesn't mean it's 'cheap'
It's true, you get what you pay for. But in this case, for what you pay you get a lot more. This is a very well made bag for this price point - stitching, zippers, etc., I'm using it as my EDC and there's a pocket or place for everything. The shoulder strap is comfortable and you know what it's a good looking little bag. Thanks for this well thought out and well made kit.

    Bag is a winner
This bag is well worth the money. This is the second one I personally own. I bought the red color for first aid supplies and crime scene equipment for patrol. Its easy to send someone to the vehicle and grab the red bag. Perfect size for what I carry. I also have an OD green bag used for a bailout bag with extra gear such as MAGAZINES, FLASHLIGHT, WATER BOTTLE,WRITING GEAR and GLOVES to list a few items
ProsOther officers have ordered the same bag after seeing mine.

So good I have one for every vehicle
I have a closet full of bags like these from many different companies, all at 3-4 times the price, so I was a little hesitant to order worried about the quality. I have had my original purchased one for many years now and it still looks new. As good or better quality than the more expensive bags. A couple of the more expensive bags and self destructed already. They were replaced with this bag. It holds everything I need and has plenty of those little storage places for CR123 batteries and such that tend to get lost in the bottom of other bags.
Proshigh quality, excellent design, tough, lasts.
Conshaven't found any in all the years I've carried these.

    Perfect for my needs
These two bags are my 5th & 6th of the same thing. They work great to set up different weapons for range visits and would work great for other uses. I use one for a gym bag.
ProsSturdy. Mag pockets, water bottle pockets, long slim pocket for cleaning gear.

    Good all around bag!
i have one in every car i own. I use them as get home bags, in case of an emergency. They are just the right size. small enough to not get in the way, big enough to hold all the essentials. The outside pockets allow it to hold more than some other similarly sized bags. Even gave one to a friend for the same purpose.

    Nice gear bag
I ordered this for a small range bag & found it to be somewhat inadequate for that purpose. I reordered a different bad & even though this bag is nice & has some nice features, I'm sending it back.
ProsNice size, several pockets for various items & 2 larger mag pockets. Nice color choices.
ConsNo hand gun mag pouches. Just not the ideal range bag.

Surprised me by how large it is...
I was surprised by the size of this bag, it's bigger than I thought it would be. Anyway, I actually bought three, including a red one to set up as a first aid kit. It has a TON of room for lots of medical supplies. I built it as a vehicle first aid kit and while I'm not a medical professional, you never know when having some first aid skills and a good supply of bandages, tape, tourniquets, etc., will come in handy, especially on the road.
ProsGreat size, lots of compartments, great quality, PRICE!
ConsNone for me...although I did want something a bit smaller, but it's all good!

    Not consistent
I already had one of these in black; no complaints, nice bag. When I received this one (in coyote tan) the first thing I noticed was that the AR magazine pouches weren't the same. I could only fit one magazine in the pouch (black one would fit two) and then the cover strap wouldn't extend over the mag to attach to the velcro, one of the main reasons I wanted the bag.
    ProsWell made, looks durable
ConsNot consistent, mag pouches don't reach to attach to velcro

Has LAPG, ever considered offering this bag in a business casual edition? Perhaps building it with leather trim, keeping the same rugged nylon properties. . .just lining the pocket tabs with leather trim and a leather grip on the nylon carry handles. All around, it's a nice bag. . .would be a great business casual satchel too, with just a few minor leather additions.

Technically, yes this bag has got my AK Mags, but the problem comes when trying to get them out of the pouch. Because of the bend of AK magazines, they get caught easily, especially if they have the waffle pattern of most polymer mags. Steel Mags are somewhat easier to get out, but still difficult, especially if your life is depending on it

I don't have an AK mag to try it for you however I would bet against one fitting in the pouch. I predict a 30 rounder is too long however a 20 rounder will do.

I would say no because this is a pretty large bag and would be more than you would likely want. I thin a better bag would be this one: https://www.lapolicegear.com/moc-diplomat-pistol-case.html I own both of these bags, and they are both excellent. The Pistol Case is really an excellent choice and would hold any handgun up to a large frame revolver, several mags, a light, a trauma pack, etc.

In my personal opinion no. If you have any children or if any ever visit your house, It isn’t secure in a way that would allow you to hold a firearm. It could hold everything else just fine. Just not the gun.

I don't see the point in a bug out bag during a home invasion. A nice tac light mounted to your weapon and a bed mattress holster should do just fine. I do own 2 of these bags and they are great for the range and work. I work in a factory and use these for my gloves and tools.

Absolutely! It's large enough to store a pistol, spare mags, flashlight, and many other items easily, but is small enough to keep close at hand without getting in the way. It makes a nice little WTSHTF bag until you can get to your main supplies.

I guess it depends on what size items your trying to store, I use old medicine containers that close tight, Ive also used old socks for parts and then roll them up tight and they fit in the pockets well. I'm a truck driver and store all my gear, dash cam, gps, tools, etc. I also have one for the range and bought one for my wife to store in her vehicle. These bags are awesome. Hope that helps.

Just received my bag yesterday, I looked it over with your question in mind and yes, I think they will stick. The interior divider is held on by Velcro so I guess it would allow other items to stick to the interior. It is a very well constructed bag, plenty of room for items, accessibility is key.

In my opinion no. First there are no attachments for a belt setup. Secondly the bag is to big for use as a fanny pack. It might be better as a shoulder bag. Each side of the bag is designed to carry gear so a sacrifice in gear capability would exist. Its just to big for a fanny pack IMHO.

I have cleaned quite a bit of gear over time and different conditions. First, if you can, take an air compressor and blow out any loose dirt, sand, etc. Then a solution of Dawn dish soap or Simple Green with warm water and a tooth brush or similar type brush will spruce it up. Let dry out of sunlight. Hope this helps. Peace.

I wouldn't try to stuff anything that big into this bag. More like a pair of slip-on sneakers, sandals or something of that size. Hope this helps.

Do you think a 20-30ft tow strap and some battery jumper cables would both fit?
    2 Answers
As long as the tow strap is flat folded and the cables aren't to large then yes it should fit, however you may want to buy the jumbo bail out bag.

I'm thinking about using this bag to carry camera gear. Can you tell me dimensions of outside pockets? Need width, height, and depth. Thanks.
    1 Answers
The dimensions i was able to gather for the outside pockets are as follows - Horizontal Flashlight Pouch - 10" Width x 3" Height x 1.75" Depth Patch Pouch = 8" Width x 4.75" Height x 1" Depth Magazine Pouches x2 = 2.25" width x 7.75" height (utilizing all velcro) x 1.75" Depth The middle pouches next to the two magazine pouches are as follows - Top Center Pouch = There's one flap, but two separated smaller pouches for this one - Pouch on the left = 2" width x 3.5" height x 1.25" depth - Pouch on the right = 1.5" width x 3.5" height x 1.25" depth (again utilizing all velcro) Bottom Center Pouch = 3.25" width x 5.5" height x 1.25" depth. Two side Bottle Bungee Pouches = 5" width x 6" height x 1.5" depth. That should be all of the outside pouches.

I bought the foliage one because everyone else is buying it. Why are they all asking about or buying the foliage one? Why can't I just think for myself?
    1 Answers
the foliage is a new color for us as well apparently a very desirable color. in a world today where almost all gear bags are black tan OD green or some other common color foliage stands out in the pack and is very noticeable. when you walk on to the range with this color people will see you as well you will always know exactly which bag is yours if your out with friends.

The last LAPG duty bag I bought had a vinyl type lining that separated from the interior of the bag after a summer of use, does this bag have that same type of vinyl? The bag I had was great except for the vinyl separating.

This bag does have a nylon lining now which does allow for hook and loop pouches and accessorizes to be attached inside the bag.
