This is the tool you want.
I used and abused this thing on a recent camping trip. Every bit of the quality you want to see in a tool like this. Some thought went into the design and materials on this thing. I like to see that.
ProsTough, sharp. Quality materials.
ConsNone that I'm aware of. Too early to comment on corrosion resistance. That would be my only concern the last trip didn't rule out.

I haven't tried the axe yet but it is a well built axe and has a nice heavy feel to it.
Proswell built and heavy duty.

Hard use items. Well worth the close out price.

Overall very satisfied with the product. Hefty (probably too heavy for tactical use) and really solid one piece full tang design. Cons: coating seems not very robust. Handle slabs do not flush with the handle so it hurts when swing with force. Suggest wearing gloves.

Great product, nice and heavy (not too heavy), very sturdy. I don't think it could ever break.

Crappy carry case
This axe is solid and heavy, maybe too heavy. The carry case is a joke. It is poorly made and the axe inserts from the bottom and is secured with three snaps that will not stay snapped. The weight of the axe causes the snaps to pop open. My axe fell out the first step I took and cut me. Sharp axe, very crappy holder.
ProsSharp and durable.
ConsCarry case is a joke. What the hell were they thinking. Seriously!

With this be a good one to keep in your vehicle to remove fallen trees from the road i'll find some kindling wood for campfire?
I have not received the Tom yet. I couldn't pass up the price, so I ordered it. I'm not so sure it would be good for removing fallen trees just due to its size, but I believe it wouldn't be a bad thing to keep in your vehicle if you have the extra space. I will probably keep it in one of my many get home bags.

Haven't received it yet but based on its size I would say it should be great for kindling but I wouldn't want to clear a good sized tree from the road with it unless you have a couple of days with nothing else to do.

I would say no. This is an entry hawk or escape hawk. It has a blunted type wedge to the blade side and a blunted type spike to the other. Will go straight thru glass, doors, and car metal. As for using it for bushcraft type stuff not made for that. A good ol hatchet or wood ax is much better for wood. Better yet a chainsaw would be best for tree removal off road ways.
