The powerful, virtually indestructible X300 Ultra WeaponLight was primarily designed for handguns but is also excellent for long guns and mounts securely to MIL-STD 1913 rail-equipped rifles via its newly enhanced T-slot mounting system. This top-selling WeaponLight features a high-performance LED that generates 600 lumens of stunning white light that’s focused by a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens to produce a high-intensity beam with extended range yet it provides significant surround light for peripheral vision in close quarters. The highly efficient virtually failure-proof LED generates tactical-level light—ideal for close- to long-range target identification—for 1.5 hours per set of batteries.

Activating the X300 Ultra is done via intuitive, ambidextrous switches—now wider and shorter for improved ergonomics—at the rear of the body. Simply press the switch on either side for momentary-on activation or flip up or down for constant-on activation. Optional DG grip switches (for handguns) and pressure-activated XT tape switches (for long guns) permit the X300 Ultra to be activated remotely.

The X300 Ultra can be securely attached to a handgun or a long gun via its new and improved T-slot mounting system. Universal and Picatinny crossbar wedges are included for simple, foolproof installation. Its high-strength aerospace aluminum body—including the mounting system—is Mil-Spec hard anodized for superior toughness and it is O-ring sealed, making it weatherproof.

FITS: The new T-slot mounting system fits most railed handguns (and rail-equipped long guns) but adapter mounts are available for some non-railed handguns—click here to view them.

Be careful! This light is bright. I accidentally shined it in my eyes and it seared my retinas to a flakey crisp. The light is built very well. After I blinded myself, I dropped the light onto the floorboards of my truck seconds before I careened off of an embankment and came to a fiery halt. The light appears to have suffered no damage. I would recommend this light to my pals that still have their eyesight and are able to shoot.

    Fantastic weapon light!
Replaced a TLR-1 with this X300 ultra. I'm using it on a Glock 34 Gen4. It's a great fit! I like the mounting of the X300 Ultra B model. It's similar to the mounting of the TLR-1 with the screw type mounting. I had to crank it down a little harder than I was used to with the TLR-1. I thought I had the X300 Ultra B tight enough on the rail but after 150 rounds, the light was loose. Just had to tighten it back down a bit tighter using a dime. All in all, the light is great! SUPER bright and focused beam. I'm very happy with it!
ProsBright Ease of mounting Good controls of the light

    Great light
Perfect lightweight weapon light. Works really well mounted in the 12 o clock position(m4 flat top, no front sight post). When paired with a lower 1/3 optic and unity tactical exo, there really aren't any better options. The lower 1/3 optic allows you to see just a little bit of the x300 in the bottom of the field of view. The unity tactical exo, protects the switches from accidental activation, while slung or cased. Two things that kept this light from being the best option in the past. Problem solved!
ProsLight, Bright, Great beam, Ambi activation(same same both sides)
    ConsExpensive(but most good stuff is)

    Does not fit Glock 30SF
Besides not fitting my Glock 30SF, it is a good quality light. The momentary on switch is pretty stiff. I'll end up putting it on either my shotgun or as a back up to my rifle light.
    ProsWell made and bright.
ConsDoesn't fit the pistol I bought it for.

    awesome light for duty use
I use this light as my primary duty light with my glock 21 it fits great in my safariland holster and being surefire is always rugged durable and ready to use. I get great instant high lumen light at the press of the switch to quickly identify any threats and also induce temporary disorientation. perfect for low light no light building searches and excellent for any outside night activity. tactical runtime is low and I understand you can only do so much but would like to see a little more. also the rails that mate the light to the weapon are polymer which they have held up to daily abuse but would rather see aluminum instead, maybe the can sell a upgrade to switch them out? all in all fantastic from surefire you get what you pay for so price is right and I would always hands down recommend this light to others.
Prosultra bight high lumen light great for identifying your threats and great spill for situational awareness
Conslow tactical run time, plastic rails

Will this light fit the Sig Sauer 1911 TacOps Traditional?
    3 Answers
I purchased this light for an AR15 build so I can not answer this question with 100% accuracy, however, to my knowledge rails on full size pistols will usually fit anything that can go on a AR15 rail system as they usually both are a standard picatiny rail.

This light will illuminate targets well past 100 yards. Once you start getting out past 250+ it will start fading out some. There is a difference between being able to see the beam and actually identifying your target. This is a great light.

I am a LEO Can you recommend a holster from my Springfield XD 45/5" duty pistol that will accommodate the weapon and light? Thanks.
    3 Answers
We do not know of any holsters designed specifically to fit the X300 Ultra yet since the light is fairly new. However, we did find numerous forum posts stating the Safariland 6360 Holster designed for the standard X300 will fit the Ultra. We cannot guarantee the fit though since we have not tested it ourselves, but if you would like to see the holster you can view this link: We do not have the part number for a Springfield XD .45 in the option box yet but we can add it if you would like.
    on April 13, 2013
According to Safariland, the 6365 will fit (you just have to specify the model... Avail at a different site, rhymes with "mops plus")... Sure hope it works (just ordered it), or I'm back to square one!

To that end, is there a fair IWB holster that would seat the XD45 with this light nicely at appendix? Anything that has material high enough to cover the slide and beaver tail. I'll roladex the duty holster that you guys recommended too, thanks!

    2 Answers
Yes, it is the same size as the original X300.
    on December 24, 2012
Be careful with this one, I had to remove the circular disc at the bottom of my Safariland 6378 to make it accommodate the X300. It was made for the X200 and because the X300 is longer, it won't snap in correctly. Once that disc was removed, it was fine.
