Survived well as my EDC light in pant pocket
I bought this light for the small size, brightness level and reputation for quality. I've now been carrying it as my EDC in my pant pocket for over 3 years now with absolutely no issues. Nice to have a good, bright, reliable light at any time when needed. And this fits that requirement well. I've bought ones for each of my family.
ProsSmall size - fits in pant pocket Bright light Durable
ConsFor me, the 10 tap is a bit confusing. But as I only use it as a basic light, it hasn't been an issue. CR123 batteries are more expensive.

    For Field and Garrison
I have used this flashlight in the field and garrison; no complaints at all. The clip is safe and sturdy.
ProsTakes hard hits like a champ; put it in your 3-day pack or on your belt.
    ConsWishlist: a red lens cover.

Perfect size for an load bearing vest. Not too bright but bright enough to light up a note pad or FI. Exactly what I needed.

    Bright, & super compact
This is my new EDC light. I like that it is so small that I can carry it with me wherever I go, and bright enough to light up a fairly large area. It is especially nice for interior work in low light conditions.

    Small but bright
I purchase this light because I wanted ready accessible light in my pocket. So far it has been excellent. The clip and carrier kind of awkward but it comes with the size. I would definitely recommend 👍

    Small but bright
Great little flashlight. I carry it as a backup to my duty light. It clips easily into a pocket. I don't even notice I have it on. I also use it when I am off duty.
ProsVery bright Easy to operate Small enough to carry in a pocket comfortably

Awesome light in a tiny package
I've owned a few of these, and they inevitably get stowed away in random bags of gear, as I store them in various sports around the house. I thought my initial purchase of this model had finally given up the ghost, as I couldn't get it to come on, with new batteries. Turns out, something had made its way between the battery and the terminal, and just had to be cleaned off. Fresh batteries, and it's as good as new...well, it's WORKING as good as new. It's rather scraped up. But the new one will be hanging around for when it finally does die, and needs to be replaced. Great little light.
ProsSmall profile makes for easy EDC, powerful for its size, resilient, great size
ConsClip comes off easily if, it seems. Nothing a bit of ingenuity can't fix.

    Great pocket light
It's a Streamlight, does any more need to be said? Once you learn the tap, tap, push process, using it is easy. I have not programmed the light, but it seems straightforward. Lots of light from a little package. Very easy to carry, and I may add some shock cord to help hang on to it.
ProsEasy to carry, pocket clip is TIGHT. It pretty much disappears in clothing.
ConsPocket clip is TIGHT. Due to the small size , it can be a struggle to get it clipped into a pocket. Might be nice to have a dedicated point to attach a lanyard ring.

Press the button on the rear end of the light. I own 2 of these and love them. Perfect size for civilian EDC and minimalist on my rifles as well. I'm probably going to purchase a third and fourth for back up and gifts. The only negative is the cr123 battery that it takes. It's pricey and not available everywhere.

In the listing it states 180 lumens, but the video attached to ad states 110 lumens. Is this the NEW model Streamlight ProTac 1L with the 10 tap programable switch and the 180 lumen output ?

The video that is on the product page is very old. We do have the new 180 lumen, 10 tap programmable ProTac 1L Flashlights in stock.
