    Excellent light!
This Streamlight is crazy bright compared to my old Duracell. The Duracell 1300 was a good durable flashlight for my public safety work, and I'll still use it as a backup, but it's nowhere near as bright as the packaging claimed. The Streamlight Protac is absolutely blindingly bright, even when just reflected from a window of a vehicle I was checking late one night. I'll be keeping my Streamlight, no question.
ProsBright, very compact and stores easily on my duty belt.

    Outstanding light
    Outstanding product, very reasonable price
ProsWell built quality, simple to use options, good price range, lots of lumens in a small package, reliable, sturdy, right size for EDC, used both 123 and AA with no adaptors.
ConsPerhaps could make a rubberized version like some of the old Surefire for winter use

    Nice little light
This is nice little light. I have the AA light. This on uses an AA battery and a 123 battery. It is small and feels like the AA light. It does not take up any more room, it is bright, and takes a 123 or an AA battery. Great light. Good for EDC or tactical use in my opinion. I am glad I purchased it.
ProsTakes both a 123 battery or an AA battery.

    Streamlight for Back up
I was looking for something small for a second backup light, this light went on sale and I went for it. This fits the bill as needed. Great source of bright light, plus a strobe option. What else can i say.

    The best.
I have surefires for top $$, cheap Chinese lights , some ok, others not, and this is the one favored. 123 or AA batteries make this so handy and useful, well built and priced right. Even with AA's, it's bright enough for pretty much everything. I find I use just low/high of the ten tap, and predominantly low. Quality build feels good on hand, streamlight has really upped its game. This one for the car and their new AAA micro stream c4 light have become the EDC, anytime, anywhere. Ive used that AAA light clipped to nothing but my boxers for a quick trip to the garage. 1.04 oz. So light and so useful. This guy is sold on these 2 new streamlight products.
    ProsAll the above
    Cons None.
