    Well worth the price!
For the money they are an excellent product. Steiner is always a quality product. I've been getting familiar with them but have yet to take them into the field either at work or on a hunt, but so far they seem to be quite sturdy and comfortable.
ProsCompact and light weight. Good magnification. Seem sturdy.
ConsLens covers are only on the eye pieces, would like both lenses to be covered for carrying in the open.

    I'm happy with them.
I bought these to replace a cheaper set that turned out to be junk. The price was higher, but the quality and performance is even more so. Adjustment is precise and beyond what is necessary. I can see 17HMR holes at 50yds through these which surprised me. I've used them to watch deer from a stand at 147yds and they were clear as I could hope for. Low light performance is pretty good too, but not what I'd call exceptional. For comparison, these will loose the picture before my Lucid 6-24x50 as dusk goes dark. They're nice and light and come with a decent carry case which has an adjustable carry strap. I couldn't find anything better at the sale price.
ProsGood performance for the price and size.

    A Great Little Binocular
I have a set of Leicas for my more demanding needs, but needed a smaller binocular due to space and weight limitations. The Steiner 10x26 fits this bill perfectly. The weight is very low, it has marvelous sharpness, and the field of view (while still narrow) is quite good for its small size. In the month I have had them, I have banged them on rocks, dropped them in a stream, and endured a dust storm with them. They are super tough. As either tactical or non-tactical binoculars there is nothing out there at their price point that matchess them for ruggedness or performance.
ProsLight weight Low price Excellent optics Rugged

Do the eyepieces have individual focus/adjustment capabilities, or is it only the center focus?
    11 Answers
The left side eyepiece has an individual focus capability... the right side is fixed. This is in addition to the larger focus that moves both sides together. This methodology is pretty much standard from what I've seen. The glasses are easy to focus and are quite clear.

There are focus adjustments on both the left eyepiece and the center. The right eyepiece has the same ridged appearance as the left but does not rotate.

The left eye can be individually focused in conjunction with the center focus. Use the center focus for your right eye and then dial in the left. Works great, no complaints.

The left eyepiece will individually focus. You use the center focus wheel to move both eyepieces, though actually you're adjusting so the focus is correct for your right eye and close for the left, then turn the left eyepiece so both eyes are in focus.

Steiners are usually made in Germany... where is this one made
    1 Answers
The box says they are made in Germany, so they are not a Knock Off brand if that is what you are concerned with. We order these directly from Steiner Germany.
