    Amazing light
I have carried this light for about 2 months now and i can say, “it’s amazing”. I have carried the Protac HL for the last 1.5 years and the only problem I had with it was that it wouldnt except 18650. So when the HL-X came out i had to have it. This light is brighter (no dought) then the HL. I carry this light ALL day, everyday and its been great. I feel i will have equal luck with the HL-X that i did with my HL, plus brighter, and 18650 rechargeables. The perfect light IMO.
ProsBrightness Rechargeables Size Quality/ Craftsmanship Deep carry clip (better pocket clip than the HL)

    Doesn't Take Tenergy Rechargeables
I am not overwhelmed by this light. It doesn't take common Tenergy rechargeables; has a ton of spill for such a relatively large diameter head, and doesn't seem noticeably brighter than my SF EB2 that is rated for half the output. Oh, and it's made in China. I often see this flashlight marketed as an EDC light, but in my opinion it pushes the limit of what will fit in a pocket.

    Love this flashlight
Have only had it for a couple of weeks but man do i love this flashlight. Brightest light i have ever owned hands down. This light will light up any room. I own a Streamlight Stinger (yes with less lumens) but have own that flashlight for about 7yrs. and i have abused that flashlight. I know i bought a quality product. I got this light with rechargable batteries and charging bay. Love the size of this flashlight.
Prosrechargable compact super bright (1000 lumens) cant beat a streamlight

If you want to use the rechargeable 18650 battery in the flashlight, how do you recharge the battery? Does it come with a charger or can you order a charger for it? Does LAPG offer the battery and charger or so you have to order it from somewhere else?

I’m sorry for the confusion, this does not come with a rechargeable battery but can use them. You would need a separate charger for the batteries you choose to run, you can find all the options that we carry here:

There is contradicting answers. If I buy an 18650 rechargeable battery, will that work for this light?? One answer says it isn't a rechargeable light and another says that rechargeable battery works for this light...

I think I see where the confusion is coming in. The flashlight is not rechargeable but can use a rechargeable battery however the battery will need to be charged outside the light.
