    Excellent light
The reason for four out of five stars is the controls are a bit more difficult to articulate than my TLR-1 HL or Olight Valkyrie Mini. All in all great light and price.
    ProsBright Good hot spot small
    ConsControls for light not optimum

    Compact W.L.
Unboxing the TLR-7 was great, the light comes with a "key" preinstalled for Glock pistols and included inside the box are keys for other firearm manufacturers, a battery and instruction manual. The TLR-7 fits perfect on the compact glock models and secures to the frame without play. The light output is great, more of a white light compared to the TLR-1 HL (great light as well) and strobe function. Turning on the light while attached to the pistol COULD be tricky for SOME people. Using the light on my glock 23, I found it is best for ME to operate the light with my support hand thumb. Each experience may vary. Definitely recommend this light hands down, it's a must have.
ProsBuiId quality, light output, fitment options, price
ConsPower button configuration, miss the paddles.

What is the measurement between the rail locking notch and the back of the light? I have not been able to find a light to fit the PT111 G2 due to its short rail to trigger guard distance.
    1 Answers
Unfortunately the manufacturer has not provided that specific measurement but the overall length of this light is 2.15 inches. Since most of that is going to be behind the start point of the rail most likely it will not fit that handgun.

Is the size on these close enough that it will work with holsters designed for the tlr3?
    1 Answers
Yes the TLR-7 is just slightly smaller than the TLR-3 so it should work just fine.

What is the holster compatibility? Will this fit existing TLR holsters or will we need a new holster that doesn't exist yet?
    1 Answers
This will work with holsters that work for older TLRs, if your holster will work with a TLR-1 or 2 then this will work with it.

Do you have any duty holsters, preferably safariland, that will accept this or the tlr8 on a glock 23 for a left handed shooter?
    1 Answers
The TLR-7 is smaller than the TLR-1 so any holsters that work for the TLR-1 should work with this light also.

I use a Safariland 6360 holster for a Glock 22 with a streamlight TLR-1 light attached. Will the TLR-7 work / fit with my current holster or require a new one to accomodate the TLR-7 ?
    1 Answers
The TLR-7 is smaller than the TRL-1 so it should not impede your holster.
