    Great Little Lite
I have one on my M&P Shield concealed carry and on my Glock 26 quick go to bedroom gun. Easy to put on, sight in and a decent across the room light beam. Laser is visible at 25yrds or so. Accuracy is reasonable. Truthfully not a big laser guy anyway but it was on the light.
ProsLight weight, easy to install, accurate enough inside 15 yrds.
ConsDecent batteries are pricey. Not a clip on the gun and go, takes a bit of work to remove.

    Great value
The TLR-6 is a great value compared to similar products from other companies that cost twice as much. It was easy to install and was a great addition to my firearm.

    Great light! Great price!
The light is great for low light conditions and the laser is an added bonus at a great price. Additionally, the fact that a certain custom holster manufacturer has quick ship holsters that fit this light is a real plus!
ProsLight and laser at a reasonable price. Quality name brand light.
    ConsNo cons at this price!

    Great light
Easy to place on weapon and laser light is very effective for off-duty carrying. Only downside is no holster to accommodate the light.
ProsLast light combo and slim design
ConsNo holsters but this occurs with all new products.

    Good buy
Big fan of this product. Really like my Sig P238, only complaint I had was no rail to mount a light like most single stack sub compacts. The TLR6 was easy to mount, and is surprisingly bright! Laser was very easy to co witness to iron sights. Would definitely recommend for any small single stack guns that would benefit from a light without adding bulk.
ProsGood price Bright light Easy co witness laser

    Great concept, poor execution
Installed this on my Glock 43 (9mm). At first I was impressed with the fit. When I switched it on, it lit with the light and laser but went out after 5 seconds. I tried the switch and found it was broken. To make things worse, while taking it off the weapon, I discovered one of the hex bolts stripped. That made quite a job of getting this piece of crap off my pistol.
Prosnice idea - I wish someone make a quality one
ConsStreamlight has really gone down in quality. Too bad. I WILL NOT RISK MY LIFE SO THEY CAN CUT CORNERS TO SAVE A FEW CENTS BY USING INFERIOR PARTS!

    Awesome light & laser combo
I bought this for my wife since she now conceal carries my old Glock 42, since I got my new 43. This combo works great especially for conceal carry, in her purse.

    Nice for the Price
Easily installed, easy set up. You can use the light, the laser, or both at the same time. Your choice, and you can change with the click of the buttons. Fits the Glock 43 like a glove.
ProsEase of installation Ease of siting in Light weight
ConsAdds footprint to the weapon, cuts down on the holsters you can use. A stretch to turn on in a hurry for my short fingers.

    Impressive
This light system fits the G-42 very well you might actually think that it was made by Glock. It is so lightweight, you would hardly notice the difference. As a back-up or off-duty FA, the laser and light matches the intended distances.
ProsEasy to install and align with the fixed sights; can be all done in a few minutes. it is a close-range weapon, so accuracy is not so critical. Once the laser is on, the small fixed sights become secondary use. Nice.
ConsCan't find an ankle hoster for it yet.

    TLR6 Worth the wait - GREAT light/laser
I waited almost two moths for this TLR-6 and am very happy with the fit, form and function. I have another manufacturer LED light only on. S&W shield and this outperforms the competition. Installation was a breeze. TLR6 did not snap into place on trigger guard but rather fit snug right out of the box. You will be delighted. I've been using Streamlight products for years - light box, TLR-1, Vulcan, protac, stylus and pleased with performance of all; TLR-6 is a winner.
ProsLaser is sharp and crisp. Minimal sighting in at 25' is almost dead on. I like the dual button left or right on switch. Also, it does not come on automatically from holster which in a tactical situation, can give away your location like ETR model. Price is very reasonable given Sreamlight product quality.
ConsCannot wait for green laser version. Hey Steamlight, get a move on, I'm ready for a green laser. No complaints

What range is the laser default sighted in for on the Glock: 43
    2 Answers
This is the response that i was able to obtain from our Streamlight Representative - The laser is sighted to target on the roof of the factory. It is unclear what the exact distance is, however it is recommended that the individual take the gun to the range and site it in on their gun at a distance comfortable to them. The range is dependent on conditions such as humidity, etc.

Does the light fit the standard crimson trace laser sized holsters? Essentially I own a S&W M&P Shield 9mm and purchased an alien gear IWB holster for it. I love the holster but would hate, and quite frankly wont give up the holster for the light? If not, has anyone found a reliable holster that will accommodate the light?
    4 Answers
Unfortunately for proper retention, especially for a CWP gun, I would not recommend using a holster designed for the crismson trace light combo. I have a G code incog IWB holster with mag caddy for appendix and love it. You can seperate it or just buy the holster. You tube videos galore on it. Its pricey and a 4-6 week wait but buy once and never buy another one.

I have not tried putting it on a G19 or Sig 226 but I can't imagine that it would fit either. The design is such that it doesn't slide onto a rail. Rather it splits in half then you put a half on each side of the gun with the trigger guard inside then screw the halves together with the three screws. That secures it to the gun. Since it fits the G43 perfectly I don't see it fitting on anything wider. It's a great light though.

Probably not. I bought it for a Glock 43 and it fits perfectly.

It will not. I have both the G43 and G19. The TLR-6 mounts on the trigger guard and the width of the guard on the G43 is 1/8th inch narrower then on the G19.

For a Glock 19, go for a standard sized light. This light comes apart in half in order to install on the Glock 42/43. Check Streamlight's website for exact fit on any weapon light.

In the Q&A LAPG states it will not fit a glock 27 however, it is an ordering option in the drop down menu. Does it now fit a glock 27?
    1 Answers
When that question was answered, Streamlight was only producing this weaponlight for the Glock 42/43.

Are the ones sold by LAPolicegear new or refurnished?
    1 Answers
These are all new, we don't sell refurnished items If we ever sell an item that has a defect we typically put that in the description and make it well known. But all of our Streamlight items should be brand new.

Will the Streamlight TLR 6 fit a Glock 30sf
    1 Answers
As of right now, they only have fits for the 42 and 43 for this item and they plan on releasing other fits soon, but the smallest light/laser combo they have for the 30 is going to be the TLR-4 and TLR-4G. Will you be coming out with a green laser TLR 6?

I asked my Streamlight representative about this and he hasn't heard any talk of releasing this in the green laser. He believes that they will come out with more gun fits before that.
