Good batteries, good price.
I recently purchased a twelve pack of Streamlight crv123 batteries. The price was very good, and the batteries are the same quality you get at full price. As many batteries as I use, I will purchase again.

Can these be used in a flashlight that uses regular C batteries?
3 Answers
No, they are a lot smaller than C batteries and each battery is 3.2 volts compared to the C battery which is 1.5V.
on January 10, 2017
from Norco, CA
No. CR123 batteries are 3 volt, whereas C batteries are 1.5 volts. Also, there is a considerable size difference between the two.
on January 10, 2017
from Hanford, CA
No, these batteries are not compatible for that type of flashlight. The 123 size is smaller than a "C" battery.

What is the difference between this pack of 12 Streamlight CR123 batteries for 18.99 and the other 12 pack of Streamligh CR123 batteries for 17.99 (SKU #: TAC1-ST-12PACK)?
1 Answers
TAC1 is a tactical training group that we like to keep track of their orders which is why they have a special SKU# set up for them. The prices should be the same, but we will honor the lowest price for any orders submitted for that one prior to it being fixed. Thank you for bringing that to our attention and we'll get that adjusted.

You have 2 streamlight (12 packs) what is the difference between these 3V CR123 batteries?
5 Answers
I ordered two 12 packs one Surefire and one Streamlight of 3v CR123 batteries to use in my five Surefire flashlights. they both give good service. My Walgreens asks $12.45 for one every ready copper top CV123. This is a real no brainer.!

I run these batteries in a streamlight protac HL2. These batteries have a slightly better runtime than Duracell and a much better run time than energizer, in my opinion.

Looks like a f-up to me. Streamlight only makes one kind of CR123 that I am aware of. I will say when I ordered mine they came in a plastic bag and not in the container that I'm used to. Go with the 17.99 oneand save a buck.

Looks like LAPG has two item numbers for the same product. Both are 12pack 5212 3v CR123 Streamlight. One is priced for $17.99, which is the one I've purchased.

In reading reviews of these batteries, I noticed a few people commented that they received batteries with an already expired (or close to) date on them. Those reviewers may be misinterpreting the date on the batteries. I think the date stamped on the batteries may be the manufacture date, not the expiration date. Can you verify that? It may be useful to those getting ready to purchase these batteries from you.
1 Answers
you are correct in the fact that the date stamped on the batteries is the manufacture date and not the expiration date. we generally turn over our batteries very quickly and are never usually more then a few months old.

How do you read the date code on the batteries?
1 Answers
From our understanding. the Date code is written as Production week/Production year so for example 2414 would be week 24 of production year 2014

We would like to know what is their date of expire? Are they safe for users? (non exlosive).

These batteries have a shelf life of about 10 years and we turn over our batteries very quickly so they are never more then a few months old. unfortunately these do have the risk of explosion if they do catch fire.
