Description
The AGGRESSOR Armor/Plate Carrier is Shellback Tacticals first and has several new features. The AGGRESSOR Carrier challenges the status quo in Law Enforcement armor carriers. This carrier was designed from the ground up with the patrol officer or tactical operator in mind.

This vest allows you to use your own concealable soft armor and place it into this vest for tactical operations. This vest for law enforcement officers fills a void in the market for a tactical carrier where you can use your existing armor. Many have started using this carrier in patrol operations as a daily outer vest carrier.

    Great carrier, great price
After looking for a better tactical carrier than I was issued, I decided on this one. Overall I like the construction, the padded shoulders and the layout of the webbing. Also a nice touch to have eyelets for my badge. Working in a humid environment I appreciate the mesh backing as well. Only downside is that I'm not quite as wide as I should be but my panels wouldn't fit the smaller carrier. I was prepared for this as my panels are from a different manufacturer.

    Great vest
Great experience. The quality is great as well as the functionality. Great balance between a neat professional appearance and a tactical patrol use.
ProsAble to fit your own soft armor from another vest in carrier. Secure place for additional front and rear plates.

Does not work with hard armor plates.
I put two level 4 rifle plates in the vest and it causes the vest to sag considerably. It seems like the plate pouch is attached in a way that hangs the weight from the top seam of the vest and this makes it collapse on itself. If you are just going to use soft armor, then this might work for you but I would seriously consider something else if you plan on using rifle plates. I tried to contact Shellback Tactical but they never got back to me.

    It's decent
This armor carrier appears to be well built. It doesn't seem to have cheap fabric and the stitching appears solid. It fit my soft armor very well. Bad: The adjustment straps are near impossible to adjust while wearing it, so you have to take it on and off to adjust. They should have made the side flaps longer and got rid of the clips on the sides. They are ugly and annoying to put on with your non dominant hand. The rivet holes for the badge are crooked causing my badge to sit at an angle. Overall its a decent vest, well built, but it has some small issues. I would have ordered my old style vest if I knew this would have these issues.

    Great plate carrier.
Perfect for law enforcement to keep in the trunk for those active shooter type calls. Can easily slip over my current vest and it has a loop to attach the radio mic to the front. Quick to put on and take off. Hooked a mag pouch, shell pouch, and med pouch to the front. Throw your velcro department patches on and you're good to go. I'm 5'10" 190 and I had to adjust the small/medium vest to make it smaller to fit me. So small/medium size should probably work for 90% of you. Bought a couple 10x12 plates. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Does this plate carrier hold body armor plates 10x12? Or does it just hold soft body armor? And what size will fit a person who's 5'3"-5'9" who weighs 120-150?
    1 Answers
Yes, this carrier accommodates 10x12 rifle plates and it looks like the size that you should order would be the small/medium. I had Shellback agree that this is the size you should go with.

Is there a way to make a BlackHawk serpa holster work on this vest?
    1 Answers
To attach the serpa holster to your vest via molle you would need the part number listed below. this will attach to the back of your holster and then it can be mounted via molle on to your rig. BPG-38CL63

How do the interior Rifle Plate pockets work-can you easily add Hard Rifle Plates for instance if you are wearing the carrier outside of your shirt? Do you access them from underneath the bottom portion of the vest or would you have to remove the soft panels to access the Plate pockets? I'm sure that you would have to remove the vest prior to adding the plates.
    1 Answers
the plates can be added from the bottom of the plate carrier and yes the plate carrier would need to be removed to be able to properly get the plates in the plate pocket.

Why is there two different black vest's being displayed in the pictures? One vest has straps that cover over the shoulders and the other vest has plastic clips on the top of the shoulder straps? Which vest is this, the one with or without the plastic clips on the top of the shoulder straps?
    1 Answers
I believe what you are confusing with buckles are tightening straps on the back view in the fifth picture.

This might be dumb but I have 2 questions........ 1. The pouches shown on one of the photos obviously doesn't come with the vest but where can I get them. 2. so i would take the armor plates out of the vest that the station gave me and put them in this one and just wear this on top of my duty shirt?
    1 Answers
The pouches shown in the picture can be found by searching this SKU number. (TAG-MSPE). as for using this as your plate carrier this item should be able to fit your plates just fine as long as you use standard plates.

what are the maximum sizes of armor panels that this vest will fit in both sizes. I wear panels that are (Front = 14in sternum to belly center of vest and 23in side to side at widest point) and (Back = 16in top to bottom center of vest and 18in side to side at widest point). Looking for a good Molle vest for everyday wear on patrol.
    2 Answers
I don't know the exact measurements but you should get the S/M size. My panels are slightly bigger (16x24 front and 18x26 back) and they fit in that one. My partner got the L/XL and had to tighten the shoulders as far as they would go to get it to fit him and he weighs approx 260 to put it in perspective. The sizes run large.

Hi I'm a little concern about the sizing on this, I'm 190-200lb 5'8" I wear a large duty pro uniform shirt, because everyone are saying that this vest comes in a size bigger should I get the s/m or l/xl? And how soon can I received this if I order today?
    4 Answers
I was concerned about it too but I took a risk with the sm/med and it worked out. I'm 5'9" 200 so we are about the same size. Everything I wear is LG or XL but trust me the vest will fit you. It is super adjustable so I tightened the shoulder area and loosened the sides. There is still room to let it out too. Fits perfect just above my duty belt. Took about a week to come in which I thought was pretty fast. Bought a couple light titanium plates, some molle attachments, and it's good to go. Quick to slip on for those "oh shit" calls.

Tuan I'm 5' 10 220 and the L/XL is a little big on me, I have it adjusted as small as it will go and it fits perfect.

I own both sizes... originally bought the L/XL and I'm about 5'10" and around 220lbs. The L/XL always felt rather bulky on me so I bought the S/M one recently as well. I'm sure the S/M would fit me better but the rear panel of my issued soft armor is about an inch too wide to fit in the S/M carrier. I'll keep the S/M for now and next time I get new soft armor I'll make sure it fits this carrier. In short, the S/M one should be good unless you've got a large amount of overlap on any soft armor you plan on putting inside of it.

I just purchased one. I am 5-9 and 200 lbs. It fits fine and would likely fit someone larger. I have plenty of overlap on this vest.

Shellback Tactical has informed us that they do not have a size chart for these plate carriers. They have informed us that most people will fit in the SM/MD sized vests since they are adjustable in multiple places.
