The G2X Tactical is a compact yet powerful polymer-body flashlight designed specifically for tactical use. Providing simplicity of operation and tremendous illuminating power in a small package, it uses a high-efficiency LED—virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break—to generate a brilliant, penetrating, perfectly pre-focused 320-lumen beam. The G2X is activated by our clickie style tail cap. The tough Nitrolon® polymer body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and resists scratches, abrasion, and corrosion. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector delivers a comparatively wider beam with generous peripheral light. We also make an aerospace aluminum-body version of this light, the 6PX Tactical, and a dual-output version with a two-stage click-type tailcap switch, the G2X Pro.

  • Virtually indestructible LED emitter regulated to maximize light output and runtime
  • Precision micro-textured reflector creates smooth, optimized beam
  • Tough polycarbonate window resists impact
  • Tough Nitrolon® body, anodized aluminum bezel
  • Clickie style tail cap
  • Weatherproof—O-ring and gasket sealed
  • Includes high-energy 123A batteries with 10-year shelf life

    Great EDC/Duty Light
Great flashlight for EDC/Duty Light. I use one on my Duty Belt for its light weight. Also have one on my rifle. Bright and tough, works well with most activities.

    Excellent Value
This is a superior low budget weapon light option when combined with a VLTOR or Haley Strategic mount. Couldn't justify the money for a Scout light. Outstanding ergonomics with C-Clamp grip. Durable, bright, rock solid. Typical Surefire. LAPG has great price and customer service.

    Surefire G2X Tactical
First somewhat expensive flashlight I had ever bought. I was impressed right off the bat. Flashlight is bright and not too big to carry in a pocket. Combined with the thyrim switchback, this was my edc light for a while, which replaced a mini Maglite. Hard to get used to the price of batteries, but they last a good mount of time. is now my flashlight in my bail out bag.

    Right on
Got it, mounted up on my weapon of night patrol choice and this light works perfect, seems to be very effective to 125 yards and can show shadows and movement to 200 yards. Nice bright light.

    Good Price, Good Quality Flashlight
I actually bought two of these, a tan one and a forest green one. Both are very attractive and well-built. They function well and are a good buy for the price. Perfect size for everyday carry, not too big, not too small. Nice, bright 320 lumen beam, plenty for use with my handgun. Tailcap switch, just like I prefer. Quick shipping.

    Good light
I have a lot of flashlights. While I'm familiar with them, I'd never bought a Surefire before due to the high prices. Took a chance at this light when it was on sale. Overall, it is a capable light. Seems to be very well constructed like you would expect of a Surefire. This is a basic light, though. It does not have multiple outputs, and the beam is not able to be be focused. It's strictly on/off. Has a very bright white light. in the center with a wide spill. The tailcap seems well made and durable (a problem I've experienced with other lights). While the tailcap can be tightened to keep the light on, this light's function is more suited for a weapons light, with the tailcap allowing for intermittent light actuation. It seems like it would work with a universal holder on an AR-style rifle, although I will end up using it has a hand-held light in conjunction with a handgun. As an all-purpose light, I will still reach for one of my other lights just for the familiar push-button operation. Even on sale, it's an expensive light. I would still recommend it for specialized uses. As an all-purpose light, there are more convenient units out there if you don't need the rugged construction.
    ProsWell built. Bright light. Rugged.
    ConsCost. Few features.

    Great light
I'm a big fan of Surefire products and this is one of their better products. It has more than enough power (320 lumens), it's lightweight and it's well built. And the price on LAPG is awesome.

This isn't the newer G2X with the click tail-cap is it? The old ones press for light or twist for constant (better) the new ones have a constant on by pressing the cap all the way until it clicks. Thanks
