Description

The 6PX Tactical is just that—a flashlight designed specifically for tactical use. Providing simplicity of operation and tremendous illuminating power in a small package, it uses a high-efficiency LED—virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break—to generate a brilliant, penetrating, perfectly pre-focused 320-lumen beam. The 6PX is activated by our classic tactical tailcap switch—press for momentary-on, twist for constant-on. The high-strength aerospace aluminum body is smoothly sculpted for a secure grip and is hard anodized to military specifications for extreme resistance to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector delivers a comparatively wider beam with generous peripheral light. We also make a polymer-body version of this light, the G2X Tactical, and a dual-output version with a two-stage click-type tailcap switch, the 6PX Pro.

Features:

  • Virtually indestructible LED emitter regulated to maximize light output and runtime
  • Precision micro-textured reflector creates smooth, optimized beam
  • Tough polycarbonate window resists impact
  • High-strength aerospace aluminum body, Mil-Spec hard-anodized for extreme durability
  • Tactical tailcap switch—press for momentary-on, twist for constant-on
  • Weatherproof—O-ring and gasket sealed
  • Includes high-energy 123A batteries with 10-year shelf life

    Simple, bright light
solid construction, easy manipulation and good size for such a bright light. The beam is definitely designed for close to mid range, with excellent splash lighting up to 100 meters while maintaining a decent beam. Works great so far as a duty light, will be buying more soon

    LOVE IT........HANDS DOWN
Had a Redline flashlight and got the 6px tactical for Christmas, Goodbye Redline hello Surefire. It's a pocket sized spotlight that can take a beating, I've been using it since the 25th everyday and it's still as bright as the first day. It works like a flash bang, shine it in someones face and it backs em up and blinds them (perfect for CQC)

Will an old school Surefire weapons mounted tape switch work on this light?
    1 Answers
We are not sure which remote switch you have, and if it is old as you say we might not have the part here to test the functionality with the this flashlight. Your best bet would be to contact Surefire directly and let them know which part number you have.
