I like the bag and I like what I paid for it
I've gone back and forth between a brief case and a bag for a long time. This seems to be the best of both worlds for me. I like how the bag is compartmentalized like a brief case. I also like being hands free as I'm walking from my car to the PD, (cuz you just never know these days). Anyway, nice looking bag that holds everything you need but nothing you don't, ( the size will keep you from overloading it with stuff you won't use). It's not too military looking, which is why I bought it in the first place. The only reason I didn't give it the 5th star is it needs a chest strap to go from good to great. Maybe they ran out of nylon strapping? Buy it, it's durable and well worth the money.
ProsLooks and durability. A place for everything, and everything in its place
    ConsNo chest strap

Very nice bag and well made.
Pretty simple bag. Not a whole lot of compartments or features, but the main area is deep and broad at the bottom. The top flap secures with the simple grommets and posts as well as a zipper for more secure closure. Comfortable straps and easy access laptop zipper on side of bag instead of having to undo the post and zipper to retrieve laptop from the top.

    Great bag for the price
I got this bag because of the closeout price. After I got it, I realized that it would have been well worth the full price. I'm using this bag as an EDC/Get home bag. Its light weight, and inconspicuous look make it perfect for this use in my opinion. Its very sturdy and well made.

    Another great Sale Value.
Better than expected configuration and pockets. It would have been worth the full price. The first laptop side entry bag I have had. So far I like that method of access better. Excellent construction.

    Sick bag
Sick bag. I use it as my EDC / get home bad. It's the perfect size for my gear. Doesn't look like a bug out bag. But it is tough enough to be one.
    ProsBlends in a urban environment.

    not impressed
Wow I can't understand all the glowing reviews I read on this. I was really looking forward to getting this and then sorely disappointed when I did. This pack has a lot of flaws. 1) No reinforced bottom, no lining or padding on the bottom. This is the part that often gets punctured, torn etc., wears out first. Fortunately I have some padding from another pack and duck tape if needed. 2) You can access your laptop from a zipper on the side or thru the main compartment. The main compartment has two large zippers with cable loops for locking. Great, except the side access has this cheap plastic zipper without any cable loop you can't completely lock up access to your laptop or anything else in the main compartment. I know that locks are not much of a deterrent but this is an incredibly stupid design. 3) the loop strap at the top is pretty flimsy and not reinforced. Really ticks me off when these break. 4) the ipod pocket at the top is nice but too small for my phone or anything else and what are you supposed to do if it rains? There's no flap. The phone pocket on the strap is also incredibly stupid. Too small for any phone I know except maybe one those burners at walmart. 5) the front pocket is more flap than pocket. 6) the straps on the bottom are also very flimsy and not reinforced very well. What do I like? Not much. It is lightweight. Holds bottles well on the side and the padding is pretty good but I wouldn't recommend this pack to anyone and feel a bit cheated for what I paid.

    Good price and service
I like the backpack, it is plenty roomy for my needs and very functional. However, the first day I had it, a retention strap for the iPod/MP3 pocket, located on the top of the pack, broke due to sub-standard sewing. It does not change the way I use the backpack, but I would expect a little better quality from Oakley. Overall good pack for the sale price but I would not purchase for full retail price.
ProsGood size, good price, very functional
    ConsPoor sewing on certain parts

    What a great bag.
I'm nothing but pleased with this gear bag. It's discreet enough to be overlooked in an urban environment. And it holds everybit of my edc gear.
ProsStrong well built material and great zippers. Plenty of storage space.
ConsWish the other colors were still available

According to Oakley, this is a 32 liter pack. I've carried it for years now for work and travel. It has held up extremely well and tends to be the perfect size for me if I'm traveling for a week or less. The design allows the pack to appear smaller than it is, but carry a relatively full load out if needed.
