    Good little lights
I like the Niteize brand in the lights and phone holsters I've bought them in. They're very durable and reliable. These are good little lights that are fairly bright for a very reasonable price.
ProsDurable Fairly Bright Choice of colors Batteries can be found Price
ConsYou can get brighter if you want to spend the money

Decent backpack light for the price.
For the price this light is pretty sweet. It's light weight for its size, not that it's very big. When you slide it out it has two brightness flood lights (kinda like a florecent shop light) which would be good to light up a small area, or camping tent. Single AA battery is nice, cheap and readily available anywhere to always get fresh batteries. Only con I can find is the red emergency light and red flashing strobe is really useless. It's super dim, I doubt anyone would really see it unless your standing next to them. Almost a novelty. But everything else is pretty cool. I keep it in my backpack incase I need a small light.
    ProsLight weight. Versatile
    ConsEmergency strobe is useless.

I bought three of these for Christmas present and they were a huge success. They are very bright and the lantern feature would be perfect for camping, auto or home emergencies. Can't beat it for the price. They are well made and sturdy and we have had no issues out of the three we have. Buy one already and put it in the glove box , backpack or whatever. I've had all sorts of flashlights over the years and spent a whole lot more money for less features. This is truly a multi-purpose light that is not all gimmick and no function.
    ProsPrice , quality, looks
ConsThe only complaint I would have is the little beacon light which is the colored band is not very bright. But how often would you use it to flag down an aircraft. It's adequate if stranded on the side of the road.

Are the switches recessed? Does it turn on accidentally/easily if you carry it in a pocket?

The switches are not recessed. They will turn on in your pocket if carried with something else, possibly. I have not had that happen yet. Nice emergency light. Dual illumination a plus. The redlight tail is pretty worthless. Even then, I like the light.

The two buttons that power it on you can see in the picture. It's two rubbery coated click buttons. Not recessed. It takes a good push to click them on, I don't see it being an issue carrying it a pocket and having the lights go on.

No they are not recessed, I don't personally carry this light they were bought for home emergencies. My girlfriend has had no problems with it coming on accidentally when she is walking the dog. These are great lights for the money I bought 3 and they all worked as advertised and are well built.

Yes if you pack it tight in a glovebox or a backpack it would be very easy for either button to be pushed but I made a lanyard for mine and hung it off the pack D-ring so that wouldn't happen. I bought it for my grandson and I to go backpacking than camping last weekend and I'm so happy with the thing I'm on here right now to buy 3 more! He's 8 and he put it though the wringer 3 days and two nights with the battery it came with and it still works like new! I never fill theses things out or answer questions but for 10.00 sir you won't go wrong!

No the switches are not recessed. It will turn on if you carry it in a pocket. However, I think it is to big for a pocket anyways. I bought it for the glove box. This is a much better flashlight for pocket carry:
