I have only used the pack a small amount in the week that I have had it, but its perfect for what I need it for. I have multiple 3 day packs as well as a day pack, but they were all to bulky for short or half day outings. This pack is perfect for those kinds of trips. The pack is lighter and smaller in size than my other day pack, but danged if wont hold the same amount if not more. The pack is very sturdy and has plenty of pockets. When the time comes, which I dont believe will be for a while, I will definitely be buying another one.

    Great for the price
Lots of pockets, strong material, enough straps. Shoulder straps could be beefier, with better attachments. Great for price.

    One of the Best
I just ordered another one. I've had this pack for almost five years now and I use it daily. It's a little on the smaller side which makes it the perfect size for everyday use, and I routinely take in on day hikes. I have by no means been easy on this pack and it has held together very well considering all the abuse i have put it through! The zipper on the main compartment is finally starting to come apart after 5 years of abuse but I can't complain about how long it has lasted me. Easily one of the best $50 I've ever spent!

You get what you pay for
The bag is well constructed i have used it for about a year and a half now it has served well as a get out of dodge bag or a small weekend tip bag. i have even used it as a range bag extremely well constructed but after a while of hiking the straps start to create pressure points spend the extra money and upgrade your straps.
    Proswell constructed serves its purpose

Good value, but needs a little work,
I've used the pack just two times, and it seems to be holding up well. It is a little smaller than I imagined, however. Lots of MOLLE attachment points. I found the shoulder straps to be wanting, in that, I like to wear my packs high on my back. To do this, I have to adjust the shoulder straps so that there is no slack on the upper pack adjustments. Then the waist belt doesn't really fit or perform as it should. All in all though, I am pleased with the purchase and would probably purchase Condor products again.
    ProsLots of MOLLE attachment points/straps.
ConsShoulder strap adjustment needs some re-engineering

    Good Compact/Collapsible day pack
Good compact/collapsible day pack. lots of compartments and webbing for molle clips and various fasteners. This is the first pack i grab for day hikes and outings where I need to carry more than just wallet, cell keys. I usually pack my camera equipment, water bottle(s) etc. I am not in the military, so not sure if suitable for hard use.
Conssome the shoulder webbing and stitching was questionable at first, but after a year of use. it seems good

    From Ireland to the Islands
Bought this bag about 4 yrs ago when traveling to Ireland w family. Since then it has been a great travel companion. I routinely keep a NetBook, camera, and array of chargers as well as a small journal several pens at least two flashlights spare sunglasses in a hard case and a full change of clothes (trousers socks boxers undershirt and button down)when traveling along with one to three magazines. I use it as a full day back when traveling to the islands as well, rather than let the wife carry a purse I will pack horse her items as well. Narrow size is great while shopping or being in crowded places. I got this in tan/coyote would like to find in grey/silver. Not as stylish as Oakley but also attracts less attention. I have even used this while mountain biking. Waist strap and chest straps do their jobs well.
ProsGreat size. Great price. Very durable. Plenty of Molly's attachment points.
ConsWish ether was a better way to tuck away the waist strap when not in use

    Great Pack
Nice sized light pack. Seems to be very well constructed. Proof will be shown when i begin using it in the wilderness. Set up of bag is very functional. Wish it came in a sling bag making all areas accessible without removing it.
ProsGreat pack for emergency/survival gear as well as light hiking items.

Excellent bag and fits my porposes
This bag is a work horse and fills the bill exactly for my purpose. the bag is a great size with pockets large enough to hold gear but not so large as to loose the contents i a clutter. The bag is heavy duty and works great as a response bag or first out bag.
ProsEasy to organize without loosing the contents. Excellent size overall and size of compartments

Comment to LAPG before question: You really should include pictures of the insides of all the bags you sell. Question: What does the inside of the backpack look like? I want to use this as a diaper bag for a few years, then "recycle" it for a b.o.b.

We use the pictures provided by the manufacturer and/or what we are able to obtain from their website. I took a few pictures of this for you and i'll will be uploading them shortly so you can see what the inside consists of.

Does the compartment that holds the laptop hold a 17 inch laptop
    1 Answers
You would have to measure your laptop against the dimensions of the main compartment of the bag. Without knowing what kind of laptop you have, it's hard for me to say whether this will fit or not. Your screen may be 17 inches, but depending on the brand, the housing for your laptop could bring it above the dimensions of the bag itself. You'll have to take a tape measure and see if it's within these measurements - 18" x 10" x 5" - I would expect it would fit, but not knowing your laptop, it's hard to say for sure.

Yes. The small top outer pocket has hook and loop for patches. It measures approximately 2" tall and runs the width of the pocket. It is also covered across the center by an approximate 1" molle strap so there is an approximate 1/2" of hook and loop above and below the strap. It does hold patches still as I have one on mine.

It does not. There are a few areas that you might be able to add them. For the price. You're not going to find a better day pack or ready pack. I've used it for both. Thought about getting one for my son who is getting ready to enlist.

Hi there. I have used Condor Gear in the past and had always been satisfie with their product as well as the service provided by LAPG. This particulas pack have what you may call a portion of velcro of approximately 7" X 2" with a webbing sweing in the midle. It wiil hold a patch that fit in. Other than that, it does come with a lot of webbing so you can place what ever you need. Perfect for Go-Bag, Car-Bag, 1 day Bag or even more.

It's very light. I don't have exact weight but several on SWAT use the pack and it holds up very well and is liked. I have six AR10 mags with at least a 100 rounds of 308 with assorted stuff-o-la including a camelback and it still is not heavy when you have it on. I'm no serious jock so average person would find the pack light weight but solid. Kelly

I am on a business trip right now and the pack is next to me but I do not have a scale. I estimate between 1 and 2 lbs, closer to 1. I have two in different colors - one for work and one for items that should not go in airline cabin just so I don't miss anything emptying it out. Spent a year in Middle East and used it daily. There is seriously no wear showing on it.

It is very light. Two pounds or so. My job requires me to travel to industrial job sites so I need to pack a variety items. Basically I use it as my Man-Purse so it's filled with snacks, water bottle, office supplies, camera, measuring equipment, ....Typically it's got about 10 pounds of stuff. I've used it about 6 weeks now and everything is holding up like new.
