Best assault pack
Maxpedition makes some of the best packs over 1000 denier triple polyurethane coated then Teflon coated absolutely some of the strongest toughest packs on the market and as far as assault packs go this one is at the top of the food chain meaning this is what other assault pack builders try to be like you just can't go wrong buying Maxpedition products and buying from LA police gear quick story .. I've seen people buy this pack for around $200 by it self from LA police gear I got the Falcon III, maxpedition universal hook n loop holster, maxpedition mini hook n loop organizer, gift for spending over $60 maxpedition free deck of water proof playing cards, gift for spending over $100 free maxpedition ferox folding knife all from LA police gear for $165!!! Amazing deal especially considering from Amazon it would have been $172 just for the pack and mini organizer
ProsBest assault pack on the market Over 1000D nylon triple polyurethane coated with Teflon coating Built to last a lifetime Great ventilation High organization capable
ConsPrice have to pay for quality No separate water bladder compartment

A Quality Backpack
While I have not put the backpack through its paces, it is absolutely a quality backpack and well worth the price point (best priced here for $166.99). The feel of the material is rough but not overly so with the main impression - upon touch - being that it feels as though it will withstand nearly everything thrown at it. Water does tend to bead rather than soak into the backpack though it should be noted it is not waterproof and will eventually begin absorbing water (particularly the straps). Stitching is very well done and the upper carry handle is both comfortable and durable. The straps themselves cinch the backpack to a very compact size if desired and also relax for additional room. The pack is quite spacious and can carry approximately 3 days worth of supplies with ease. It should be noted, however, that the bag lacks side pockets for water bottles or canteens. If desired, separate attachments may be purchased and placed on the side webbing. A welcome upgrade from the Falcon II, the buckles on the straps allow for quick release of the pack with ease. For extended periods of time, with an approximately 35 pound load, the backpack remains comfortable and does not bite into the shoulders or stress the lower back (when packed correctly). The only negatives for this backpack are the price, the lack of side pockets, and the fact it's not made in America. Overall it is an excellent backpack and will see future deployments.
Pros-Quality construction -A lot of organizational capability -Many points for customization due to well placed webbing
Cons-Price -No side pockets -Not made in America (Understand that this is a small preferential con that is also linked with price)

What is the difference between the II and the III?
The Falcon III has a quick detach buckle on the straps (an extremely useful feature) and a mesh material on the back of the bag and under the straps. I believe there a few more differences but those are the major ones.
