    Holy Moley
I've had mine for a few years now. It's been a medic kit, a edc, a hiking pack, and currently is an organizer/go-bag for my car bag. Mine has add-on shoulder straps due to overloading issues but it has held up exceedingly well and stayed in my inventory happily.
ProsLike any maxpedition product it will probably outlast the owner... and likely their grandchildren.
ConsNeeds shoulder strap, a harness, or someone who carries lighter stuff.

    Fantastic Go-Bag
This is a great bag. I'm using it as a portable advanced medical kit. Easily dropped off at a casualty collection point or strapped on as fanny pack or over the shoulder for rural ops.
ProsExcellent construction. High quality nylon. Lots of space.
ConsThe handle system is combined with the compression strap system which is a design flaw, but not a big deal. This is the only reason it's not rated a 5.

    The perfect butt-pack.
The Sabre-Cat Versipack is without a doubt the best butt-pack I've ever owned or used. It has a very well thought out design. As with anything you get from Maxpedition, the materials are top of the line, and the construction is perfect. The padded belt does a great job of evenly dispersing the load, and can be tucked inside and out of the way, if you'd rather just carry it by the top handle. The two side pockets will accept and medium sized items (like a tackle kit, or stuff items like gloves hat and flashlight). The rear panel has additional orginizational straps for smaller items like keys or pens. Plus, there is a generous amount of molle straps (without getting carried away) for any small pouches you want to throw on.
ProsGreat over all size, well thought out design, great orginizational pouches/layout, and as always from Maxpedition, perfect material quality and stiching.
ConsThis pack can accept a lot of items, and (if you're like me) it becomes easy to over load it. I know that complaining about having too much space is kind of a stupid thing to do, but just be aware that it is an option. And if you are going to stuff the thing as full as it will go, you may want to consider getting some type of shoulder harness or X harness to distribute the weight and help it ride a little bit easier.

    Awesome Buttpack and EDC Bag
Use it as my supplementry go bag when I don't have my main one. Works pretty well, like I said in the cons I might modify it to accept some shoulder straps to hold on to it more and
Pros- Lots of organization - Elastic holds
Cons- When the item is new the material is pretty stiff - Probably will need to get something to support my shoulders with this, bag moves alot when you jog and or run around. - Slips down sometimes when walking if you don't tighten up the belt

Great pack for small first aid kit
The sabrecat is a great unit for an outfit of a small first aid kit with the basics for a first response to minor injuries.
ProsAllows for easy carry by "tucking" in the waist band to carry as a side bag.
Cons"Tucking" in the waist band makes the back side of the back slightly bulky and stiff. Recommending loading out the bag with the waist band in the tucked mode so not to over fill the unit, if one plans on having the ability to tuck and not tuck the waist band back and forth.

    Maxpedition SabreCat Versipack
Bought one for my wife who has had back surgery. The suspension of the SabreCat along with the accessory 2inch shoulder pack & pad is perfect for her. I've also had one of these for several years & am fully satisfied.
ProsYou can load a tremendous amount of gear into this pack.

    awesome bag
This bag is great. Canteens fit in side pouches perfectly.this was a great way to get gear off the front of my load bearing equipment to get in a better prone position. the bag has tons of small pockets and interior is large enough for an MRE and poncho.
