Not a duty light
When I left the police academy this was the standard light they gave us. It's too heavy too bulky and doesn't give a strong beam. If you're looking for a duty light I would go stream light and pay the price extra money. This light is perfect for everyday people though. It does work and is sturdy. I wouldn't recommend as a duty light at all. I would recommend for extra light in you're personal car or truck
ConsWeak beam compared to many other more expensive lights. Very heavy and bulky

How many lumens does this flashlight produce. Same question for your six D-cell light. Thanks
The 3 Cell flashlight doesn't have a lumen rating on the packaging and it's not packaged in a way that I can get to the instruction booklet without damaging the package. It's an older model because I couldn't even find it on their website. The 6 D cell does have a rating of 136 lumens with a beam distance of 295 meters so i would expect the 3 D Cell to be less bright. Sorry i couldn't find you the exact numbers for the 3 D Cell one.
