    Deluxe Range Bag OD Green
Overall this is a great bag. Pockets and internal organizers are perfect for AR mags and anything else you need to carry. Be aware that the color you get may be quite different from the online photos. I ordered the OD green, which appeared to be a muted drab color in the photos, but in reality, the color I received is a very rich dark green. Not a huge deal, but not what I was expecting.

Amazing Product, top of its class
This bag is amazing on both price and quality, I have seen bags with the same style with far less quality and far more on price. With an amazing stitch quality that makes it durable than the rest in the same playing field.
ProsVery strong!!! Amazing Quality, half a price for twice the quality
ConsI wish I can get more.

    Works good.
Holds all my crap. Use this at work. Originally used a cheap tool pouch but wanted better. Ordered the LAPG bail out bag, but it was too small for my crap. Ordered this bag and it was there the next day, fantastic service. Anyway, I loaded this bag down. Vortex binos fit perfectly in the single padded end compartment. Motorola xts 2500 fits in the open pocket on the opposite end. 4 covered M4 mag pouches under a large zipper flap hold my other stuff. traffic vest, radio harness, spare pen collection, extra radio battery and Etrex GPS. main compartment holds extra clean underwear (yes.) Glock 21 with safariland ALS paddle holster and 4 additional mags in paddle holsters. two smaller pockets on the other side holds all the usual crap i've collected and find indispensable. gum, mints, toothpicks, zip ties, handcuffs, extra pocket knife, etc, etc. these two smaller pouches came with nice velcro magazine mount/organizer deals. took them out. but they would make great pistol mag organizers IF you wanted to use this as a range bag. I really like the dual zipper top and the padded shoulder strap is well made, but I took it off. It is nice and will get used on another item though.
Prosgood zippers really nice shoulder strap padded pouches where needed elastic in the M4 mag pouches keep crap from rattling and the top flaps are removable. dual zipper top opening thing is cool.
Consbetter pics and video for this would be good. something that shows scale in every picture would make selection easier.

I use it as a tool and ditty bag it's awesome!
I bought this for use on film sets, I'm an A/C and need a place for all my crap, ie. Jewelers screw drivers, T handle Allen Drivers, cleaning equipment, flashlights, batteries, multitools, cabling, adapters, etc. for the price, the quality is unbelievable, especially considering the cost of similar bags form camera bag makers. a bag of similar spec from a company catering to the film industry is in the area of 200-300 if not more. AND. those bags do not feature 4 velcro tabbed massive pockets, big enough to hold an entire set of T-Handle allen drivers. AND. MOLLE straps, which are ridiculously handy, This bag is incredible value for money, if I was a shooter I'd own two, one for all the camera crap and one for all the gun crap. Buy one. you will not be disappointed. The one thing that for me is a little bit of a minus is that it's very well padded, for guns that's prolly good, for me, as it eats a little space it's not so good, i wish it was a little lass padded over all, inside especially. that being said, overtime, it may lose a little padding, especially once drenched and other use take it's toll. Looking at this bag from a quality stand point, there's a strong sense that this bag will last a long time maybe even ten years. the zippers are strong and the material and stitching is very well done overall. I bought the OD cause I love OD. And it's visible without drawing attention to itself, and on dark sets black is not a wise choice for bag color. coyote is strong second but i love green too much
    ProsAwesome value for money.

    Sturdy Range bag
This bag seems sturdy for the price and has everything the casual shooter could want. What you see is what you get; no hidden pockets or crazy sleeves or loops. Just nice sized pockets for magazines, loose ammo, and a sturdy build. We'll see how the quality holds up.
    ProsLarge Easily accessible
ConsNo Velcro for customization and tacticool patches!

This range bag is perfect for my needs. Plenty of pockets and durable construction. I did a lot of research on range bags before purchasing and I believe this is the best bag for the money. I like the fact I only need this bag for my AR and pistol needs.

Is there any pistol magazine slots inside this bag? Kind of like the Elite range bag. Thanks
    8 Answers
No pistol mag storage by design. I bought this as a rifle bag. There are some dividers in the two smaller outside pockets that will hold two mags in each section. This could give you room for 20-24 pistol mags rather than 10-12 rifle mags. This leaves space for eight rifle mags on the other side as designed.

Yes there are pistol magazine slots.
    on January 12, 2017

Yes. They are hook and loop style in the two small front pouches (easy to insert or remove) I believe each can hold 4 pistol magazines.
    on January 12, 2017

No, ar-15 sized mags. Some of them are attached with Velcro so you might be able to add pistol mags pouch

    from New Jersey
The dual pockets opposite the rifle pocket side of the bag have the velcro inserts. I consider these more of a SMG mag pocket. You can move them down and it will keep the mags separate unless you are throwing it around. Two pistol mags will also fit into each rifle pocket but no actual pistol pockets.

No, just pouch or AT mags. But there is more than enough room for pistol mags just sitting in the other pockets.

Sort of. In the two pockets on on the one side of the bag it has some dividers that can be used to hold several pistol mags, but they are very different from the ones on the Elite bag. (See the last two photos before all the ones of the guy at the range)

Yes technically. In the two smaller outside pockets you can fit pistol mags in them.

Will the water bottle pocket fit a 32 oz/ 1L Nalgene?
    6 Answers
Nalgene bottles come in various heights and diameters. The pocket will not hold the traditional wide-mouth Nalgene quart bottle, as the diameter of the pocket is just over 3-inches. However, I have carried the taller 22-oz Nalgene OTF bottles and 20-oz insulated Contigo bottles with ease. The pocket is @ 5.5-inches deep, so no worries about the taller bottles tipping out. Hope this helps.

Depends on the dimensions of your water bottle. The pouch will hold a bottle with a base width of 3", and that is a tight fit. The pouch itself is about 5" high. The pouch is made out of the same material as the bag; so, it doesn't stretch, expand, nor will it wrap around the bottle. It has molle on one side; so, maybe a larger "water bottle" carrier can be mounted.
    on July 7, 2016

Unfortunately it doesn't. It's approximately 2.5" in diameter and doesn't expand much.

Will AK magazines fit in the rifle magazine pockets?
    4 Answers

    from Houston, TX
The outside panel that is designed for rifle magazines will hold 2 magazines in each slot, but I found the AK magazines are too long to fit in the side panel. They will, however, fit in the pockets on the opposite side of the bag. I fit 2 30 round AK magazines in each pocket, if you leave the center slot empty.
    on June 29, 2016
    from Lafayette, LA
Yes each pouch accommodates two 5.56 magazines, or a single AK (or other .30 cal) mag. It looks like even if you did AK mags all the way across you should still have room.

It is hard to tell in the pics, but do any of the compartment's zippers have the holes that line up for locking?
    6 Answers
The zipper pulls on this bag are heavy duty cord with hard nylon tips - about 1 3/8" in length. They are configured in an opposing two-way wrap-around manner for full and easy access to each pocket. So yes, you could put a series of travel locks through them for basic security (to keep the honest folks [or curious kids] out). Mine is black, and fits perfectly on my 3-gun buggy, and serves it's purpose very well. Overall, it's well made, and quite versatile. Hope this helps.

    Unfortunately, they do not.

The center compartment is closed by 2 zippers that run parallel on either side of the panel that closes the main compartment. The zippers do not meet and there is no great place to lock them down. All of the outer pouches are double zippered but do not have overlapping loops to secure them together with a lock. When I do keep my gun in the side slot of the main compartment, I use a 4.25" tsa cable lock to fasten both zippers to the shoulderstrap D ring on one side of the bag. It does a decent job of sealing.the main compartment but not perfect.

This is an excellent range bag, both in quality and is versatile in layout. To answer your question the four rifle magazine pouches are built to hold two ar15 (30 round mags) each. I use two of the four rifle mag pouches for carrying my eye protection in one and a supply of foam ear plugs in the other. On the opposite side of the bag are two compartments to hold pistol mags, these compartments will not only hold your pistol mags but will securely hold your pistols as well. You can slide the barrel of the pistol all the way through one of the magazine sleeves to securely hold a full size M&P pro core. This range bag also holds it's structure and shape due to it's internal closed cell foam padding. I highly recommend the LAPG Deluxe Range Bag.
