SKU #: HSGI-Super-Grip-Belt
This is for the Padded Belt only. The Riggers Belt and Pouches are sold separately.

The High Speed Gear® Sure-Grip® Padded Belt is designed to provide the comfortable, no-slip stability necessary for reducing back strain and general discomfort so frequently caused by loose-fitting, drooping and weighted-down belts. Featuring a brand-new modular system, the Sure-Grip™ has a slim profile that is just 0.75 inches thick and only 4.5 inches tall.

The Sure-Grip®'s updated design features Neoprene as the belt's padding. This material gives the belt a cushiony gel-like feel for greater comfort and exceptional gripping power. It also features a removable HDPE stiffener sheet throughout the entire main portion where the three continuous rows of PALS/MOLLE are located. This feature is for those times when added stability is required. With this proprietary ability to remove the stiffener sheet, the Sure-Grip® is one of the most flexible military belts of its kind, making it the ultimate support system whether at the range or in the field.

With three conveniently-positioned access ports, the Sure-Grip® allows you to seamlessly attach subloads to the belt's interior, while the belt's four suspender attachments allow for easy expansion.

To accurately determine the proper size padded belt, take these steps. First, determine the size gap you want in front between ends of the belt. Most people want about 4 inches, but some like the belt to touch or even overlap. Once you have this decided, take a tape measure around your waist while wearing your everyday belt. Finally, subtract the gap you want from the waist measurement. Order the padded belt closest to this final measurement. If you choose the cobra belt, you will need to go up a few inches from your standard belt size to accommodate the added girth created by padded belt. If you choose the duty belt, please choose the closest waist size to the length of padded belt chosen.

Below is the total length of the SGPB for sizing:

30.5" end to end - If you choose a Cobra belt for this SGPB, the smallest Cobra you should order is Medium
35.5" end to end - If you choose a Cobra belt for this SGPB, the smallest Cobra you should order is Large
41.5" end to end - If you choose a Cobra belt for this SGPB, the smallest Cobra you should order is XL
46" end to end - If you choose a Cobra belt for this SGPB, the smallest Cobra you should order is 2X

Great price of equipment to have for the range and for emergencies. The sure grip on the inside is a great way to keep your belt above your hips when loaded with gear. As always, flawless craftsmanship from HSGI

    Great padded molle belt
The quality you get with HSG is unbelievable. The price is well worth it and is a great value. It comes with a removable stiffener that can be used to help slide a velcro backed cobra belt in with ease and is equally effective in removing it as well. Just slide it between the velcro layers and pull out the cobra belt. Super slick. The grippy backing on this belt keeps it in place very well. It comes with attachment points for suspenders but I didn't need them as it doesn't go anywhere while running and gunning. If you've used a belt that doesn't stay put before then you know how much of a pain in the a$$ that can be. All of the materials are top notch and very well put together as all stitching is perfectly done. The molle is perfectly spaced and tight so any pouches you attach don't flop around.

    Great battle belt
I'm very happy with this belt. The Suregrip material keeps it very secure on your body, the three rows of PALS webbing holds on the MOLLE pouches extremely secure and the inner stiffener keeps the belt from sagging. I wear a 36" pants size and ordered the 35.5" belt, but after it arrived, I decided to go with the 41.5" size belt so that I would have more room for MOLLE on the front. The HSGI belt now just barely touches as it wraps around the front, but there is still plenty of room for the buckle. It could even overlap at least an inch and still have room for the buckle. LA Police gear was very easy to work with on the exchange of the smaller sized belt. HSGI does also make a slim line belt with all the same features but with 2 rows of PALS webbing instead of 3, I would like to try that sometime as I can see how a thinner belt might be more comfortable depending on your build. Remember, it does not come with an inner belt,
ProsVery secure on body. Pouches stay secure. High quality construction. No sag with inner stiffener.
ConsSuregrip material can be hot against body on hot days.

ProsIt stays right where it's supposed to... at all times!

    Great Subload
I've used a few different subloads/warbelts/battlebelts over the years in several different countries. So far, by far, the HSGI SureGrip belt is my favorite and most reliable. It holds weight well, does not roll like a lot of other belts, and is very well made. It doesn't breath as well as some other belts, but ultimately, that's not a huge concern of mine. Who really cares about sweaty hips when you're drenched in sweat anyways...

    So far so good
I haven't used the belt in the field yet but it seems solid and well made. It grips your waist securely. How well it stays there depends on how much weight you attach. Over all I like it.
ProsI wanted a belt with the loops to attach pouches and it has plenty.
ConsYou have to provide your own inner belt. For the price they could send a simple web belt so its ready to go out of the box.

I'd go with a large inner and a 35.5" padded outer belt. These are the best belts out there, but sizing is a bit tricky on the upper and lower ends of the scale without trying it on oneself. The important thing to remember is to actually measure your waist with the clothes you'll be wearing and use that true measurement, not your pants size, to order the proper belt. The HSGI is the best belt on the market, hands down!

I use the padded belt and run a HSGI Cobra 1.75 Rigger Belt through it. I have a 32" waist and wear the TruSpec Urban Force Uniform. The size of my padded belt is 35.5" end to end and I use a size Large Cobra Belt through it. There is a gap of approximately 4" between the ends of the padded belt when I put it on over my uniform. (Shirt tucked in with a nylon pant belt) . Hope this helps........

I ordered the medium sized belt and measures 35.5in end to end. I where 30x30 pants and the belt just overlaps like 1/8 inch which is better then the 4 inch gap I had with the small sized belt i ordered first. The large size should fit you perfect. I think it mesures 40.5 in. I found out the hard way that it has to be about four(4) inches up on your normal pant size. Please note this belt requires a inner cobra or similar tactical belt to work. You can always contact and consult with High Speed Gear Inc. They have awesome Customer service so you won't have to return anything and waste time. Can I attach the handgun pouches to the rifle mag pouches to conserve room?
    6 Answers
You can depending on which pouches you purchase. It just makes it really bulky
    on January 3, 2017
    from Eureka, CA
This product is just the molle belt. It doesn't come with any pouches. It also does not come with the raptor belt inside the molle belt, viewed in the picture. To make this work, you will need to purchase an inner belt separately as well as magazine pouches. In regards to the High Speed Gear pouches, they make many different styles to include double or single AR mag pouchs with pistol mag pouches already connected.
    on January 3, 2017
from Moscow mills, -- Choose One --
You can run pistol pouches on rifle pouches, but the weight may make the belt start to roll over or sag. It is better to keep the weight close to the body.

High Speed Gear makes a Double Decker TACO for that reason, great product. The pistol mag also carries a flashlight or a gerber multi tool. I have been using High Speed Gear in Afghanistan for the last couple of years, love my kit.
    on January 3, 2017
    from APO, AE
Yes, you can. However. The room that you save in terms of sheer left-to-right space may be greater, but so will the bulkiness of your kit. If you are looking for a functioning kit, rather than tacti-cool gear.. then you must think about getting in and out of vehicles, switching from kneeling, prone, and standing, and also clearing rooms. I wouldn't stack many due to the fact that they cause you to be much thicker.

Though you probably can because its Molle, the bungee design would make it flimsy and I would not suggest it. Look at other mag options such as ITW fastmags. Tyler

Hard to say the fabric in the TDU and the Fabric for the belt are very different Plus most of what you see on the belt is the Molle but looking at them side by side there pretty close my eye sees the difference in the fabric more then the Difference in the Multicam the belt seems slightly more saturated or Richer colors but very slight could just be the difference in the Runs. Which Cobra riggers belt will fit the HSGI padded battle belt? My pants size range from 32-34, and I was going to order the 35.5" end to end padded belt but need to know what size cobra riggers belt and which one will work with this setup. How wide of a belt can I wear and please tell me the size belt I need or order. If I order today can I have this to me by 5/29/15?
    1 Answers
Most riggers belts will fit in the padded belt . The size that you need depends on which belt your purchasing as some run smaller than others. For the HSGI riggers belt, you would measure and order the size the same way as you do for this belt however you wouldn't subtract for the gap. As for getting it by 5/29, you would have to order it by Monday and choose one of the expedited methods.

I am a DOD Police Officer and was wondering if anyone has purchased the HSGI padded belt to wear with a patrol duty belt. How well does the gear hold up, will it sag like some other padded war belts? I would appreciate some input before I make the purchase, thanks.
    3 Answers
In my opinion more agencies should be using equipment such as HSGI. I bought two and glad I did. I like the fit, comfort, stability, and space to mount gear. There is a plastic liner that runs inside the belt it seves two functions. One support of weight of gear. Two helps to feed inner belts, see Youtube video for instruction. The liner is removable, but better suited internally. The inner portion has a scuba diving type foam to allow for the belt to stay in place. Overall, I'm glad I made the choice. The belt will serve you well for patrol and tactical work. Bobby R.

This belt comes with a plastic liner that makes it vertically rigid. This is removable but with the liner in place the belt will not sag at all. I am a LEO and I persoanlly would not consider this to be something I would wear with a regular uniform. If you are in a casual uniform and want to look "military" this will do the trick. I would use the HSGI brand inner belt. Be careful with the pad and inner belt measuresments as I had to buy two different pads and inner belts to eventually get the right fit. The quality is great.

Is this an option when I order through you, similar to how it is on HSGI's site? Also, I don't see the option to select Kryptek Highlander as the color. Is this an option? Lastly, are you guys running any sales for Black Friday or Cyber Monday? What is the best size for a 36 inch waist?
    1 Answers
I am a 36" waist and I ordered the 35.5" belt. When I got it, the ends of the padded belt were about 6" apart at the front, and the first set of PALS webbing was about 12" apart giving me less room for MOLLE pouches in the front. I decided to go with the 41.5" belt to give me more room for MOLLE on the front of the belt. Now the padded belt just barely touches itself in the front, still leaving plenty of room for the inner belt buckle. Even if the Suregrip belt overlapped an inch or so, there would still be room for the inner belt buckle on me. Just an idea...
