High Speed Gear TACO Modular Single Rifle Mag Pouch
SKU #: HSGI-11TA00
This unique pouch uses injection molded polymer sides, Cordura™ front and back, and shock cord lacing to lock just about any rifle magazine into place. USGI, HK, PMAG, ARC, FAL, AK 30/ 40, LR20 and M14 magazines are all held securely and deployed easily and silently on demand.
The TACO® even works for certain radios, flash bangs and smoke grenades and provides this versatility while taking up only 3” horizontal inches on your platform.
The TACO® maintains a positive, adjustable grip on its contents without additional securing systems. However, if additional retention is desired webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers and loop Velcro is sewn on the interior if the users wishes to use adhesive hook on the magazine.
Covered by HSGI's® Lifetime Warranty. Made in the USA. HSG Clips Included.

Great Mag Pouch
Really great mag pouch, fast, intuitive, and secure. It works great with AK mags, including waffle mags, and Tapco's that so often have their texture get caught on seams on other mag pouches. A little pricey, but still highly recommend these.
ProsFast, secure, works with mags that often have issues in other mag pouches
Consa little pricey

Excellent quality is put into every pouch, I use them to hold: M14, Magpul AK Mags and M4 mags. It doesn't matter the length // width these pouches will hold what you put in them.

Hsgi rifle taco mag pouch review
This has been my first experience purchasing rifle Taco mag pouches. I am impressed with the quality material they use and and the stichwork. Someone was really thinking when they designed this mag pouch. It's versitile with different sized rifle magazines. Money well spent!

ConsTough to install

I got two of these to put on my HS Gear battle belt and they are awesome! They hold your mags tight and you dont have to worry about any flaps getting in your way when you go to grab. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is it takes a little work to get the pouches on the battle belt.
ProsEasy to get mags Fit tight on battlebelt Easy to adjust tension
ConsTakes a little time geting it on the battlebelt.

Can pouch attach to belt or do you need additional accessories?
unfortunately this is meant to be attached to Molle compatible gear. Here is a similar pouch for the belt: http://www.lapolicegear.com/hsgi-19ta00-bm-lt-rifletaco.html

Can you fit m14/ar10 mags or let's say 7.62-51?
Yes 7.62 magazines will fit into the HSG taco pouch. I recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan, where I carried the FN SCAR Heavy (7.62 x 51). I used both single and double stack taco pouches with the SCAR mags with no problem.

Most definitely. I actually use them to hold m14 (10rd/25rd), and Pmag AK 30rd mags as well as M4 mags. They all all hold tight just cinch them up via drawstring and you're ready to run.

Yes you should be able to fit AR10/M14 magazines. The shock cord along the sides allow the pouches to fit all sizes of magazines.

Yes, these fit my M14/AR10 mags. In fact they fit my AK47 mags easily. They will also work on PSL (7.62x54r) but, its a tight fit.

Would one be able to cram a large smartphone into this as a holster? I've been looking for something for my Nexus 6 since Maxpedition seems to have stopped manufacturing the TC2. 3.5"x6.5"-ish.
It will fit an iPhone 5s however due to the clips on the side, it will most likely scratch the phone.

Any timeline for when these will be back in stock in OD? I've already been waiting longer than the predicted back-order delay and they were back-ordered for at least a week prior to my order.
we do have these on order with the manufacture but they have been delayed a bit due to the holidays. we are working with the manufacture to get these back in stock but we are looking at about another 1-2 weeks till they arrive. we do apologize.

Can additional molle pouches be attached to the front of this?
Yes they can. I have a vertical shot shell holders on a couple.

You "probably" could, but that would more than likely cause the bungee cord to become worn out faster than intended. I would go ahead and just purchase a double taco if you are wanting to mount a pistol mag pouch.
