Good belt so far.
Sizing always seems to be the issue when ordering online. I ordered the 36-38 belt. It fits a little small, but I still have about 2-3 inches of velcro overlap, so it works. I wear a size 36 jeans, but my 511 Taclite Pro pants are size 38 and fit well.
Prossleek design, buckle
Consprice, I wish the buckles were small enough to slide through the belt loops (i knew before hand that they wouldn't).

Sturdy Belt
I also thought I was ordering a belt without a D ring, but now see that it is listed in the description of the belt. This belt is great to use when wearing a holster and mag pouches. It does not fold over from the weight of a pistol. I am between size 34" and 36" pants and went with the large belt to be on the safe side which works but if I was to order again I would go with the medium. The belt has plenty of excess material to make adjustments.
ProsSturdy platform to carry weight. Solid belt lock.

Hsgi cobra belt
If your in the market for a cobra, riggers belt or a combination of the two, you can't go wrong with hsgi. Overall very pleased with the belt as is and functionality. That's why I had to give hsgi five stars. La police gear on the other hand, disappointing!
ConsMy only reason for not recommending was primarily due to la police gears advortisment of the product, photo was not accurate. I have several of the hsgi cobra rigers belts, but was in need of only an hsgi cobra belt, as depicted on the ad photo. The cobra belt was difficult at the time to come by, and I was need of one very quickly for a specific reason. I completely understand that most of this problem was my own fault, however it's not uncommon for retailers to inacuratly list an item. At the time I had to have the belt and wouldn't have had time to return it under normal circumstances.

If I'm a 38" waist, what size belt should I purchase? Large or XLarge?
1 Answers
We would recommend purchasing a size XL. If you plan on wearing a holster or any other equipment on your belt, you will need extra room.

What color buckle is on the TAN belt?

on the tan color belt the buckle would be a darker coyote brown color that does not match the color of the belt.

It seems the picture for this product is not accurate. Is this the actual product, as detailed on the HSGI site? http://www.highspeedgear.com/hsgi/cobra-175-rigger-belt-31CB.html (In case the link does not work, I've attached a photo of the belt from the HSGI site.) My concern is the d-ring. HSGI makes a silver d-ring model, but they also make a model that has a different model ring. I just want to be sure which one is being offered here. Thanks!

How much adjustment is possible when it comes to sizing. I'm between sizes, so if a large is sized at 36-38, what is the smallest it could adjust to, and what would be the largest. The picture seems to have several inches to play with, thank you.

we would recommend going with the larger size as you should be able to get the belt small enough to work with you just fine. but if you went to small you might not be able to use the belt at all as it would be to small to fit around your waist.
