Description
While there are lots of cases and sleeves for the new Apple Ipad, there are none like this one. As a likely professional or casual mil-spec gear buyer you will have a lot to love about this functional and/or fun new product. It starts off with a carefully sized fit to accomodate both the Ipad on its own or with a thin plastic over-case. The design is rendered in DuPont Cordura and has generous padding without being bulky. The interior uses our cool new soft-touch material to protect your Ipad's finish and screen. The material is also quilted and colored like the padded interior walls of heavy transport aircraft.

The entire back surface of the Launch_Pad is covered with MOLLE (PALS) modular webbing for attaching compatible containers such as larger pouches to store anything from digital cameras, to the Ipad's charging brick and cable to smaller pouches for carrying the photo-kit reader, usb cables, flash-drives and mil-spec items like folding knives/multi tools, water bottle pouches, etc. The back also features a wide hook and loop hook-loop patch area for attaching morale patches like country flags etc. or our Hazard 4 (R) 3-D rubber patch collection.

There is also a front 3-d logo included in a color to match your chosen color, a mil-spec-styled embroidery logo with the product's catalog designation, high-quality recessed hook and loop hook/loop closures and a unique security-closure on front featuring a removable shock-cord elastic. For ventillation of your Ipad we provide two grommeted/filtered air-vents and for clipping on a carabiner, keychain, or wristloop there is a mil-spec steel triangle-loop-ring at one corner.

This case is a perfect fit with the LA Police Gear Bailout Bag. See above image for the Hazard 4 Launch Sleeve inside a LA Police Gear Bailout Bag.

Features:

  • Available in Black, Coyote, A-Tacs, or Multicam Colors
  • Mil-Spec Ipad Case (also fits the Xoom)
  • Back MOLLE/PALS coverage

The title says it all. Very well made and offers great protection for the IPad with a great style. Hold the unit securely in place and the combo of the Velcro closure and steal ensure the unit will not slip out.

ProsOverall great, the velcro on back is great for morale patches or attaching pouches with the molle straps
ConsVelcro closure is a bit loud when you open it around people. Hardly a big deal though.

    Great Addition
Got this to add some extra protection for my iPad. Works great for that and another bonus, I was able to attach it to my NRA briefcase so I can get to it easily and it's always with me without taking up space on the inside of my bag.. Great Item.
ProsGood quality construction, soft padding inside. Great for that "extra" protection.

Perfect for keeping the iPad in 1 place in my range bag.
I use the hazard4 sleeve with the cover folded back to expose the velcro tabs. They mate perfectly on the velcro divider in my LAPG range bag so my iPad stays easily put and is well padded from either side.
ProsVery durable and protective. Stiff enough to maintain shape and provide easy access both in and out.
Consno cons for the mission use I described.

    Awesome
This sleeve is awesome, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 fits with ease. I have it paired with a Condor utility pouch right now but just ordered the Maxpedition 5x7x2 utility pouch. If your going to buy something to put a tablet in you might spend the little extra and buy this sleeve, it is worth the money and all your friends will be jealous.

Can LAPG just do us all a favor and list the dang dimensions on the products that they carry? This is something you guys fail to do all the time. LAPG has great service, low prices and timely shipping... and I love doing business with your company, but I am always wondering about some basic info that should automatically be listed the the product's description. Thanks in advance because I know you'll try to fix it. Happy Holidays!

unforutnatly no we show your tablet is just a hair to big as the internal length is about 10 inches. so it would most likely not fit correctly. we do apologize.

What are the inner dimensions of this case. I have an iPad Air and I'm worried this case may be a little too large. Thanks,
    3 Answers
Inside diameter is 10 1/2" wide by 7" deep. Will stretch close to 1" to accommodate a case or attached keyboard. Without a case it might be a little loose because of how thin the iPad Air is. Case is well padded.

It is about 10" wide and 7.5" tall on the inside. It has ample padding, and is not a tight fit on my ipad 3. Which makes it easy to get in and out.

Yes, but it is tight. I have an INCASE on my iPad and it's rubber coated, so it's a pain to fit it in the hazard 4 case, but it does fit.

Yes it will if you don't have the top cover on it. I bought the same case and my iPad 4 with an otter box on it and it fits but very snuggly. After a few times of taking it in and out of the Hazzard4 case, it now fits perfectly. I would give it a four because it is a little expensive.

This iPad case is the best case I have found for protecting my iPad 4. I have it attached to a Zagg Bluetooth Keyboard Case & it fits perfectly. I don't think there will be enough room to get your iPad with the Otter box Defender case into this pouch. It is well padded & will stretch a little but you might be pushing it trying to get the otter box in. Hope this helps.

What are the differences between the ATACS and the MULTICAM? I have an iPad 2 and I want the tan one with the Molly on the back.
    3 Answers
The ATACS is the one in the pictures that looks more like a blurred camo. You can find out more about it at this link: http://www.a-tacs.com/. The multicam is the one that looks like a more traditional camo in the pictures. The tan one you see in the pictures with the MOLLE on the back is what Hazard 4 calls Coyote (CYT).
