Description
Don't see a holster for your firearm listed? Please use our Holster Finder for a list of great options that are compatible with your gun!

This horizontal holster, for pistols only, features our patented swivel connectors, which can be adjusted to a more diagonal carry position than our Miami Classic or MCII. It can be used with any of our harnesses. It is available in Havana color and comes in right or left-handed models.

This is a holster only, not a complete system.

The modular interchangeable component shoulder systems (originally known as the "Jackass Rig") were invented by Galco International in 1970. Today, we continue to offer quality and versatility by developing products that enable you to design the perfect system to suit your needs. For example, you may assemble a two-handgun rig, a half harness system, or add tie downs and cuff case to an existing system. The possibilities are endless.

Galco Jackass shoulder rig component for 1911
The item shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape as described on line. The price was a good one. The holster was up to Galco's usual high standards: first class materials and workmanship. Like all of the Galco holsters I have owned, it is tighter than Zorro's hatband, and my 1911 has been resting in it until the leather is broken in and relaxes a little bit. I expect it will last a lot longer than I will.
ProsGalco quality at a good price.
ConsYou will need to work with a Galco holster some to get it broken in.

But it will fit a Kimber 1911, correct? Also, can you recommend properly fitted shoulder straps, etc for this weapon and magazines?
1 Answers
Yes, this holster will fit a Kimber 1911. If you are trying to purchase the entire Jackass Holster Rig System, you can purchase it here: http://www.lapolicegear.com/galco-jackass-shoulder-holster.html. It will be cheaper to purchase the entire rig as a whole rather than purchasing the components separately.

Galco has informed me that this holster will not fit a Sig Sauer 1911 because the slide is different from a standard 1911.
