Perfect for LEO
I was looking for a replacement for my Stinger LED that seemed to no longer hold a charge. Illumination technology seems to have come a long way in a short time. I remember my stupid right angle flashlight in the army... Read some reviews for the Fenix UC45 and loved the USB charging ability. flashlight has four useful levels of brightness and the ability to strobe at each level. Good materials, feels solid. Nice bezel for striking if necessary. The only complaint is that the pouch it comes with IS (as stated by others) cheap and insufficient for field work. Such is life. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.
ProsNice range of illumination levels USB comparability
ConsAwful carrying pouch

Best flashlight i own
This is the best light i own and have used in a long while. It has replaced my streamlights and surefires and its my main duty light. Light is extremely bright, even on the third setting, which i usually keep it on. Its not too big or too small, and the controls are easy to use. The battery last me at least two, sometimes three months before i have to recharge it. Recharging takes about four hours, but thats for a day off. It recharges from a usb cable supplied so you can charge it from the computer in your patrol car. This is the second fenix light i bought and i will be buying more! It is well built and can take a beating. I dropped it several times and still works like it is new. You will not be disappointed.
ProsExtremely bright, easy controls, sturdy build, size is nice for big or small hands.
ConsIts really a joke the nylon sheath they give you with it. I purchase a condor holder for it and i had a surefire leather holster that it fits in, bezzel up of course, but it holds it tight

Best Flashlight Ever!!!
In my line of work as a crime scene investigator (CSI), I have owned and used flashlights of just about every major brand and size. The Fenix UC45 flashlight is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned and have used out in the field. I learned about the UC45 flashlight from Fenix representatives at the greatest shooting, hunting, and outdoor trade show in the world that was held in Las Vegas earlier this year in January. At the time the flashlight was still in its early stages of production, and I could not wait long enough for the flashlight to be available for sale to the public. I am so glad that the Fenix UC45 is now available at LA Police Gear at a great discount price.
ProsThe biggest PLUS of this flashlight is that it is rechargeable through a micro USB port!!! You will never need special adapters to charge this flashlight since micro USB is perhaps one of the most common adapters available in the world. You will simply be able to charge the flashlight with a micro USB cable just about anywhere: home, car, boat, etc. Also, needless to say, if your were to own this flashlight you will have a rechargeable 960 LUMEN flashlight that is perhaps one of the most COMPACT ever!
ConsThe only disappointment I have with Fenix has nothing do to with the flashlight, which is GREAT!!! My only complain is the holder that comes with the flashlight. For such a great flashlight, the holder is flimsy and cheap-looking in quality. I would have thought that Fenix would have contracted with a better flashlight holder supplier for their products. I wholeheartedly recommend that you buy the flashlight and do yourself a favor a buy a sturdy holder for it if you plan to carry the flashlight out in the field as part of your standard duty equipment. With this review, I have include photos with an alternate holder for carry in the field.

The reviews all say the included holster is junk. What other holsters that LAPG sells would fit this particular light?
I'll check with other customers who have purchased this to see if they have any holster options for you on this.
