  • HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Our belts run true to size. To order an accurate size, measure around your waist band, through the belt loops (where you normally wear the belt), using a cloth tape measure. Then take a second measurement that includes any holsters or gear you wear on the belt. Our belts have about three inches of adjustability, approximately 1.5 inches on either side of the size you order. Just find the sweet spot between measurements (with and without gear) to get a belt that works for both.

IMPORTANT SIZING NOTE: It is important to measure and not use existing pants, skirt, dress or belt tags... those often do not reflect actual size. Your clothing tags may say 32" or Size 8 (for example), but that often differs from actual size. Returns are no fun! Measuring is the best way to guarantee you'll get a belt that fits.

I bought this belt, i have worn it a week and its crap its killing my hip. I carry a lot of stuff about 20lb everyday i have my gun on my hip, iv never had a problem till i switched belts ill go back to my cheap 5.11 belt. i looked into a lot of belts and this one seamed to have everything i wanted. They say it was stiffened to hold its shape and to carry stuff it just folded up when i put my glock 42 on my hip.

    Perfectly "Balanced" Belt
There are a lot of reviews of the buckle type so i'll focus on why I think CrossTac's belt is perfect. I bought the belt looking for something I could wear daily regardless of pants, carrying, etc. The width is small enough that it fits all pants without being too narrow. I really like the stiffness as well. Keeps its shape but is not so stiff that it's not flexible. The knife and money pockets are a useful and cool addition that do not feel intrusive or excessive. The only thing i will say about the buckle is that the size CrossTac uses fits through all jeans. Undoing the the belt is just as easy as undoing any belt if the buckle does not fit through the loops. The only precaution is sizing. I measured multiple pants with a cloth measuring tape and ranged between 33-34. I ordered a 33 and it fits, but the velcro would match better on a 34. Not a big deal but a heads up that you should sway on the larger decide if debating size.

Must the male end of the buckle be removed to thread it through the belt loops on pants, holsters, & mag carriers? If so how hard is it to remove. Another brand can't be removed without manipulation of a butter knife.

Yes, unfortunately both ends of the buckle are too big for most belt loops on pants. At least that is the case for my pants. And getting the belt off the buckle is a major P.I.T.A. Unless you plan on leaving the belt on you're preferred pair of pants you'll probably find, like me, that the belt sits in your closet. Poorly desgned. Waste of money.
