This light is durable and bright. It also has long battery life and was a steal at the price on LA Police Gear.

It is a "high performance" light
Exactly as described. Arrived ahead of schedule. This is the 2nd one we ordered (for my wife). Use it for camping, around the house, and walking in the evening. Spotlight scares off aggressive dogs. Light is sturdy, works flawlessly, and has two brightness settings. Great that it uses regular AA batteries. Can't be beat for less than $20. $44 SAVINGS!
ProsSturdy aluminum construction-two brightness settings-slide focus-uses regular AA batteries-waterproof on-off switch-great price

What was Coast thinking? Why Coast why?
This is one heck of a flashlight and you can't beat the price tag of $14 for the Coast HP6 flashlight. I purchased my first HP6 flashlight back in 2011 or 2012 from Mike Hill over at Coast Products (see picture below, yes that's my first HP6 flashlight) This flashlight is built like a tank and can take one heck of a beating, plus it comes with a full lifetime warranty too. Why on earth did Coast discontinue the HP6? What were they thinking? The HP6 uses 2 "AA" batteries. So it is longer than the HP5, which means you can fully grip the HP6 and is user friendly if you have big hands or you're wearing thick winter gloves. At $14, I was able to purchase several Coast HP6 flashlights from LAPG. I would love to buy some more.
Pros The HP6 uses 2 "AA" batteries. So it is longer than the HP5, which means you can fully grip the HP6 and is user friendly if you have big hands or you're wearing thick winter gloves.
ConsCoast discontinued the HP6....WHY? This is an awesome flashlight!!!

Great item but the cost to replace batteries is a bit high.
Great item but the replacement batteries are expensive.

Buy 3-4 for emergency and go pack
Excellent light for $14. Small size, heavy duty construction, AA batteries, high light output. I keep one in each of my cars, my overnight travel bag, and as a back up on patrol slid into my vest carrier.

This was a steal at the sale price. My 2nd Coast Flashlight, and even better than the 1st one. Like the build quality and ergo's on this light.
ProsBright light, AA batteries

Nice little light, light & easy to carry, I use it as a spare light just in case my main light dies on me. Will do in a pinch if my main light needs to be charged.
