Decent beginner bag
As far as EDC bags go, this one is a good starter bag. It's made with Maxpedition's usual attention to quality, and sturdy design features, but it's lacking in a few minor areas. There's almost no space for morale patches, or identification patches, if you want to sport those, and there's very little by way of pals webbing to attach any other pouches to. Also, this is made of a lighter weight Cordura than my other Maxpedition pouches. While I thought I would appreciate the shaved weight, I found myself missing the sturdy 1000D Cordura that I am used to. I was still able to get my usual CCW loadout in the pocket designed for it, on this bag (although I had to use a spare universal holster and magazine pouch that I had laying around. I do wish Maxpedition would simply provide a universal holster with each of their bags that are clearly designed to have them. In the end, I passed the bag along to a friend that is just starting to carry an EDC bag, and I went with a Vanquest bag that is almost identical to this one...except it has more hook and loop panels, PALS webbing, and is made of 1000D Cordura. This bag is definitely not a bad choice...just make sure it fits your needs before you commit.
ProsAttractive coloration, Maxpedition sturdiness, comfortable configuration, decent size
ConsLacking hook and loop panels, very little PALS webbing, lighter weight Cordura than usual from Maxpedition, Sparse internal divider options.

Maxpedition Jumbo KISS 5Stars!
As with any Maxpexition product this one upholds the quality and durability that Maxpedition has become well known for. The fabric, stitching and zippers are all heavy duty...designed for wear & tear. This is a great bag to hold EDC essential items as well as a few extras. I use it to house one of my many off-duty carry firearms. I'm able to fit nearly any compact weapon, not to mention several spare magazines.

Jumbo Kiss bag
The bag is adequate and will hold most stuff you need to carry. The main reason I use it is to carry my water bottles when I am bout and out walking. The material is very stiff and thin not what I was expecting.
Prosbig enough to carry most stuff and has several pockets including one for CCW.
Consmaterial is thin and stiff and will scratch sunglasses.

Given the popularity of the regular Maxpedition Jumbo, I worried I would be disappointed in the K.I.S.S. value version. It's great, and exactly what I was looking for.
ProsExcellent value Great storage options Good quality
ConsWould prefer some change to the design that would allow better coverage of the main pocket with the top flap.

Purchased this as an EDC/ Get home bag. Perfect for concealed carry, or whatever you need to get through your day without a bulky bag

Its simple. Don't Expect the usual Maxpedition attention to detail
Its simple. Don't Expect the usual Maxpedition attention to detail . This one is plane Jane. It's still useful and much lighter in weight than its cousins.
ProsSimple, light, but strong enough for daily use.
ConsFew pockets and only single zippers. Waist strap cannot be removed or stored.

The bag features are fine, but the material is so stiff and noisy that I would never buy anything again made with this material no matter how inexpensive.

Basic Jumbo Bag
Well made & just as described. This was purchased at the closeout price so it was a good deal. I later purchased the regular Jumbo . Can't go wrong.

Great for extra clips and water bottle
It has a nice padded strap. This bag is great to carry extra clips, tools , whatever you need in the field. You can even throw your lunch in there. You can wear it on either side. You just have to adjust the strap. Very well made.

Maxpedition Jumbo K.I.S.S. Can this be worn on either side of the body comfortably? I want to use it as an EDC for duty use but will be wearing my pistol & badge on my right hip. Thanks.
This Maxpedition Jumbo K.I.S.S. is only designed to go over your right hip, so if will not fit correctly on your left hip. Unfortunately, Maxpedition does not make this versipack in the left handed S-Type version.

Can this be converted to wear as a belt?
If you really wanted to this Maxpedition Jumbo K.I.S.S. could be worn like a belt, but the bag itself would be at a weird angle since it is meant to be worn a different way.
