    back pockets in bad location
    September 8, 2016
I understand why these were on closeout now. The back pockets are in a bad location. They are not actually in the back, they are on the sides, or at least the slash openings are. If you are carrying anything on the side rear of your pants, you can't access your back pockets.

    Gret buy
    July 19, 2016
ordered these when on sale and am not disappointed. A bit heaftier than expected but comfortable nonetheless, even in Kansas heat.
    Pros:
Love the back slant pockets and the hidden interior pocket.
    Cons:
Silicone strip keeps shirt in but if you wear it out, you need to wear an undershirt. Silicone rubs on skin. Still give five stars

    comfortable
    July 13, 2016
I bought these because of the crazy low price of $11.99, thinking they would make some ok range pants. But these are light, stain resistent, and about the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever worn. They have two elastic straps on the inside of the belt line to aid in stretching when bending over, and a small rubbery line around the inside of the belt line to keep your under shirt from coming untucked. Wish I would have bought more.
    Pros:
    Price, comfortable, light.
    Cons:
Now I need to buy some tacticool boots to go with them, my nike's just don't look right with them.

    June 26, 2016
The pants have a lot of neat features, like the tacky band on inside so your shirt stays tucked. The price was right, so I bought a pair.
    Pros:
Neat features. + Cool pockets with lots of space. (zipper side pocket is really nifty) + Shirt-stay band + Good price + Light weight
    Cons:
    - Super baggy - Low-hanging crotch

How baggy are these? around the legs and shoes, im a skinny jeans kinda guy, so relaxed and straight leg pants are considered baggy. if anyone has a pair, can you measure the bottom leg openning pressed closed, thanks in advance. price is right, but may end up in the garbage if too baggy.
    9 Answers
they are tactical pant so they will be roomy pants and they allow for athletic behavior they are by no means skinny pants nor are they hip hop baggy I wear mine at work everyday I work in a marine construction environment which requires that I be able to have a great range of motion I hope this answers your question

I just bought a pair of these as well as the Vertx and a couple different 5.11 pants. I have noticed that they are all pretty baggy but the best pants that are the least baggy is the 5.11 Jean Cut. I absolutely love these blackhawk pants and are the most comfortable to me. For the price I think you cant go wrong

I normally wear 5.11 tactical pants and tried these because of the price. The legs are more baggy than 5.11's and are more of the boot cut style. Probably to baggy for you. I would stick to 5.11 if I were you.

Do These pants have the same zip pocket for a firearm?
    5 Answers
These are great pants but no zip pocket for a firearm. Great fasteners in the front and great zipper, the elastic on the waistband make these comfortable. The front pockets lay flat enough that you won't want to put any type of pistol in them without being noticeable. The lower (cargo pockets) ones would be too far for quick access, plus you would have to be concerned that even with the velcro top closure, that when you sit in a lower chair or car, that it wouldn't slip out anyway. Being tall, loose rounds tend to fall out of my lower pockets when I sit. But, overall great pants.

They do have the "hidden" zipper pocket behind the normal right front. I like to carry a P11 there, because of their heavy trigger.

In my experience, I would say that these pants are a little light for winter use, but a shade heavy for the middle of the summer. The fabric would be great for early spring, when the temperatures are above freezing. Depending on the ops these pants are used in, the fabric weight may be appreciated more when charging through summer briars. Overall, I would definitely recommend these pants regardless.

We don't have much in the way of seasons just dry summer wet winter (pre drought); I'd say spring/summer if you have cold/snowy winters. On the other hand, they're pretty baggy - plenty of room for long johns!
