THIS ITEM DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR FREE SHIPPING OR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS! Some of these boots feature only minor imperfections- very small leather scuffs, welts not 100% lined up, etc. Please note that these boots are final sale and cannot be returned! The only reason for return LA Police Gear will accept on this item is for it being the wrong size/wrong fit. By ordering, you acknowledge that these boots may arrive with minor imperfections. However, the majority of the boots are a first quality version that was denied military use by the USMC.

UPDATED PRODUCT INFORMATION: LA Police Gear has begun to run out of supply for the imperfect version of this boot (the 29502D model), and has now begun selling the 29502A, first quality version instead. The 29502A boot was contracted to be made by Bates for the USMC, but once the boots made it to the field, the USMC realized that the boots needed a few subtle design tweaks. Bates is still currently making a newer version of these boots for the USMC, making this first model an overstock special. They are first quality boots. Both the imperfect (29502D) and first quality (29502A) boots are still being shipped at this time, and we are not able to accept any requests. By ordering you acknowledge that you may receive either version.

    Good Ol Boots!
I couldn't pass up a great deal on a pair of boots made in the USA. The boots I received were in exellent condition and comfortable since day one. I can wear them all day and when I take them off my feet are bone dry! I still have some foot fatigue at the end of a 9-10 hour shift standing on concrete, but that is to be expected from most any shoe/boot. Overall this is looking like a great pair tough work boots that should last a while. Get em while they got em!

Fantastic boots! Very durable and very comfortable.
These are the most comfortable boots I have put on my feet new. Usually it takes a few marches to break in new boots. Not these. No blisters or hot spots after hours of hiking. Love 'em!!!!
    ProsPrice, durability, and comfort.
    ConsI only ordered one pair.

    Best boot I've ever owned
I am a pretty active person, I hike, camp, fish, shoot, and work out in my yard. I have never had a boot that was as comfortable and durable as this. I purchased an extra pair so that when I do wear the first ones out I will have a back up to keep me from being heart broken.

Ive had these boots for about a month and although not worn every day, I feel these boots are good value. Good for rugged terraine as well as around the house. Easy to put on and the speed lace system works well, also did I mention comefortable

    Excellent Boot
Comfortable from the minute I put my feet in them. Gave them there first workout tonight. Walked 4+ miles at my job on concrete floors. My feet feel awesome. My feet have never felt better after a shift. They run a tad small. Order a 1/2 size bigger.
    ProsComfortable, great feel.

    Perfect for the price.
I haven't had the boots for too long, but so far they are pretty good. So far, I believe they are worth more than what I paid for them. They are a little tight right now, but will get more comfortable as I finish breaking them in. The back of the heal is a little hard and hopefully that will also break in. Otherwise they are a good looking pair of boots. I plan to take them on longer hikes during deer season. Will see how they hold up then. I would definitely recommend them.

    Good Value
They were true to others comments - get one size larger and one size wider than what you normally wear!! Other than that, these boots are very comfortable and seem well made. Only time will tell how they hold up. Thus far... after several weeks of daily use, they are working out nicely!! If they were still available I would have bought another pair!!
ProsLow Cost Very Comfortable (no break-in period) Easy on
ConsTongue design is a bit odd and takes some getting used to.

    One slipper, one torture device
I wear a size 9.5 regular shoe. I ordered a size 10W. When I put on the left boot it was like putting on a high quality slipper, pure heaven. Then I put on the right boot. I felt a terrible pain on the tip on the rear of my right heel. I laced up the boot and took a couple steps. The pain was unbearable. At this point I don't know what to do except put them in the closet and forget about the money I lost. If both boots felt like the left one they would be some of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Unfortunately, they are just taking up space in my closet.

Great boots. Took a few wears to break in the hard heel but after that they are the best pair of boots I've ever had! I wish I would have ordered more than one pair before they ranout.

    Awesome boots
I bought several because I wasn't sure which size would be right for me. I ended up with one size larger than I normally wear. I'd buy another pair if my size was in stock. The new version that will replace these will have more leather being replaced with nylon and I hated the new Army nylon boots vs. the old canvas jungle boots, so these are better quality IMO.
    ProsWell built, extremely comfortable.

    Still breaking in but...
These boots are my preferred boots for work, hiking, and early season hunting. They're so good I bought two pairs to replace my 14 month old pair that are still kicking (after replacing an eyelet that came out 10 months after purchase). These boots are so good they put my $200 pair of (chinese manufactured) Rocky's to shame. I had less than a 1/4 of the hours of wear on the Rocky's before the soles came apart (maybe from being exposed to oil). Beware though, they are made with good materials so they take about 2 weeks to break in (to where i either don't get blisters or build up enough callous to where they don't bother me). The soles have good traction and the padding is good enough that even after hours of walking on concrete my feet don't hurt.
ProsDurable Good traction Very affordable American made Breathable upper for warm weather Easy to put on after loosening laces
ConsNot waterproof Not good for cold weather Harder to break in than some

No, they vent. They will take on water, but with the eyelets in the arch the boot will vent out the water and dry naturally as you hike, walk... whatever. 1st SGT always said dry feet are happy feet... but these do a decent job without having to actually change out your socks.

What does it mean by ega has been stamped out?
    1 Answers
The EGA Logo (Eagle, Globe and Anchor) which is the Marine emblem, has been stamped out since they are not built to USMC Standards. If you look at the picture, on the outer heel, there was an EGA emblem on the boot but there is now a bar over the eagle, that is how they stamped out the EGA emblem.

the boot lace attachments seem to be metal covered with some sort of plastic film. I don't think there are metal shanks in the soles. for $40 it's tough to find fault with these. You can't whine on the price of them. They are NOT steel toed boots.

my normal work boot size is 10.5 EE would the 10.5R be too narrow?
    1 Answers
Yes, most likely a size 10.5R would be too narrow for you if you normally wear a wider width.

I Want To Know :This boots US10R=EU43 or EU43.5?
    1 Answers
A US size 10 is a Eurpoean size 42. If your foot measures 43 or 43.5, this boot will be too small for your foot.
